Its that time of year again for the Kids Choice Awards. This time, I'm a nominee. I'm nominated for not just one, not just two, but three awards: Favorite TV Show, Favorite TV Actress, and Favorite Movie Actress. I'm more nervous than I was last year. Shawn is in the running again for Favorite Male Artist, Carson is in the running for Favorite Movie Actor, Jace is in the running again for Favorite TV Show and Favorite TV Actor and Milo is up for Favorite TV Actor and Favorite TV Show. Milo and Carson understand why I've been so nervous now. Also mainly because last time there was a Kid's Choice Awards, we almost died in a car wreck. Well, I almost died in a car wreck. We have the same talk we had last year about how I need to chill and everything will be fine, but it wasn't directed to just me this time, it was to me, Milo and Carson. We get out of the limo and walk the orange carpet again. The same thing we did last year.

I think I have separation anxiety. Shawn is on the other side of the room where most of the musicians and YouTube stars are, Jace is on the side where all the Nickelodeon stars are, Carson's with the movie stars and Milo and I are on the side with the Disney stars. Hollywood is like 4 huge cliques that Milo, Carson, Shawn, Jace and I are all trying to break out of.

The first award of the night that's about to be announced is, of course, Favorite TV Actress. Of course, my heart is about to beat out of my chest. I'm so nervous. I have no chance. I'm going up against Millie Bobby Brown and she's the star of the world's most favorite Netflix series ever. "And the winner is..." the presenter says. The intensity is killing me. They open the card and I'm immediately disappointed. I remained disappointed for about .3 seconds. "Abby Winters!" I looked confused, shocked and happy at the same time. Milo stands up with me and gives me a hug. I rush over to the stage trying to hold back tears of joy. I look on stage and there's a picture of me with the background cut out. It's the picture I took on the orange carpet last year. As I walk up to the stage, kids are reaching their hands up waiting to give me high fives and hugs. I high five and hug as many of them as I can. I get to the stage and someone hands me the blimp. I take it and give my speech. "Oh my gosh! Thank you guys so much! I might cry. I want to thank Disney for taking a chance on an average teenager like me and the entire cast of The Waynehood Diaries, my family, Milo Manheim, Jace Norman, Shawn Mendes and Carson Rowland because none of this would've been possible if they were not by my side every step of the way and you guys! Thank you guys so much." I walk off the stage and go backstage. I was in awe. Later that night, Jace accepted the award for Favorite TV Actor, Shawn accepted the award for Favorite Male Artist, Carson accepted the award for Favorite Movie Actor and Milo and I accepted the award for Favorite TV Show. Sorry Stranger Things, guess this year just wasn't your year.
