The Day I Got Un-Famous

 I put the last box in the trunk of my car. My flight leaves in an hour and a half. I'm getting on a regular plane because only famous people get private jets. I'm no longer famous. Word got out that I was leaving Hollywood and fans did not like it. I lost my fame and fan base just as fast as I had got it. And I got it pretty swiftly. I close my trunk and walk over to the guys who are standing on the sidewalk watching me and waiting to say goodbye. "So. This is it." I say. "I thought saying goodbye to the show was the hardest thing I'd have to do." I admit. In my mind, I know this is gonna hurt. "I'm gonna miss you." Jace says. "Me too" I tell him. "Are you guys still gonna stay together?" I ask. They all look at each other which answers my question. "Nah. You brought us together. It doesn't feel right for us to be together without you." Carson says. I'm disappointed. "Just...stay the night here. Then you guys can go off and do whatever you want." I plead. They look hesitant. "Okay." Shawn says. "One night. " I smile. I hug each one of them one by one. "Bye guys." I say. "Bye." They all say back. I get in my car and start the car. I drive off and look back at them through the rear-view mirror. I choke back tears. I'll always have my movies and TV shows to look back at them. It's not like all of it went away. I have the show, Henry Danger, Partners in Crime, Partners in Crime 2, The Counselors, Nationwide Heroes, a Pocahontas remake I was in, a Coyote Ugly remake I was in and Sweet Dreams. It's not completely over.

4 hours later, I arrive at my parents' house in IF. I walk in looking depressed. "Hey guys" My parents look over at me and notice I'm upset. "What are you doing here?" My mom asks. "We made a deal. So...the show's over and I'm home." My mom and dad look at each other like they had other plans in mind. "You know you're 18 right?" my dad says. "Yeah, why?" I ask. "You're an adult. We only made that deal because we thought it wouldn't last as long as it did. You're out of high school and you were so happy in Hollywood." My mom says. "So what are you saying?" I ask. "You never had to come back. Go back to Hollywood. Go live your dream." My dad says. It was Kenny Green all over again. I was lost. "I can go back?" I ask. "That's what we said." My dad says. I was super excited. I ran over to them and hugged them and thanked them. I ran out the door and called Stu and told him to send me a private jet to send me back to Hollywood. I was gonna take back my fame. My friends were in for a surprise.
