Shayne:
I woke up to the sound of Olivia's alarm blaring on her phone. I groaned and wiped the drool off my mouth before sitting up. As I stretched my arms out Olivia stirred next to me and groggily reached out for her phone to turn off the alarm. I stood up and plugged my phone in before heading to the bathroom to take a shower. I closed the door behind me and hopped in the shower. After washing my hair and body I got out of the shower and dried off with a towel. I wrapped the towel around my waist and went back into my bedroom. Olivia was on her way out of the room when I walked in.
"Hopefully you didn't use all the hot water" She said smiling while she walked past me.
I picked out a black t shirt and tan pants for the dinner tonight. I put on some socks and shoes and then grabbed my phone to wait for Olivia to get ready. She swears she only needs five minutes but in reality you have to multiply that by three. I was scrolling through twitter when Olivia came into the room wearing a robe with a towel wrapped around her hair.
"Hope you don't mind, I had to use your shampoo, I keep forgetting to bring mine over" She said while going to the closet.
Even though half of my drawers and my closet contained her clothes that she brought over and forgot to take home, Olivia always forgot to bring the trivial stuff like shampoo and toothpaste.
"It's cool" I said while typing out another ridiculous tweet.
After another fifteen minutes Olivia had finally dried her hair and decided on an outfit. She wore a black t shirt with jeans and converse.
"You ready to go?" She asked grabbing her phone and purse.
"Yeah, one sec" I said.
I grabbed my wallet and keys and followed her out the door. I locked the door behind and took the elevator down to the parking garage. I opened the passenger door for her before getting into the drivers seat. The drive to the restaurant was pretty nice, Olivia talked about her friends that we were meeting, Rosa and her boyfriend John, and answered questions about them. The questions were simple getting an idea of them before meeting them type but there was one question that kept nagging me in the back of my head. It had nothing to do with her friends but with what I found, I decided not to ask her though so dinner wouldn't be weird. After we got to the restaurant she looked for her friends. I assumed she spotted them when she pulled me in a general direction. We end up at a table where a short blonde girl and a much taller dark haired guy stand up to greet us. As the girl I assume is Rosa hugs Olivia, the guy shakes my hand.
"Hey, nice to meet you, I'm John" He said.
"Nice to meet you, Shayne"I replied.
"Olivia's told us a lot about you" He said.
"Hopefully all good things" I said chuckling.
John chuckled before moving to allow Rosa to greet me as well.
"Ah so you're the infamous Shayne" She said.
"Haha that's me" I said.
"It's so nice to finally to meet you" She said shaking my hand.
"You as well" I said.
After pleasantries were exchanged we all sat down and ordered drinks before delving into a conversation.
"So where do you work at John?" I asked while Olivia and Rosa were busy gossiping.
"Oh, I work downtown at the library" He said.
"Oh, cool, what's that like?" i asked.
"It's pretty nice, I get to help people find books and I also get to enjoy reading all the books on my break" He said.
