As time went on, Jin got more and more certain that he liked Jungkook more than a brother.

It was confirmed by every moment, every hour, every day he spent next to elder, and every beat of his heart. No doubts were left there, he was completely in love with Jungkook and he could not do anything about it. He liked the feeling of loving the vampire secretly in his heart. He finished preparing dinner when Jungkook came down and put a book a down at the table.

He stretched to see see, what the book was about and smiled when he saw that this was the book that he recommended.

"What do you think of it?"

"Horrible."

Jin laughed.

"And why?"

"It's very stupid."

"How?"

"A vampire falls in love with a human, it's so stupid, and impossible too."

Seokjin smiled, didn't let himself show how much those words hurt him.

"Why do you think so? Can't a vampire and human fall in love?"

"If they fall in love, the relationship will be ephemeral. The human will die within some years, then vampire will be left alone. So it's better to love someone who is equally mortal or immortal."

"Maybe you are right."

And the younger didn't say anything more, and tried to focus his attention on his food. Whatever Kook said, was true. He would die soon and Jungkook would be left alone. He should look for someone, with whom he could spend his life till end, someone who would not be left alone, someone who would die with him. Jungkook was the only person he ever met, maybe that's why he loved him. Maybe when he would met someone else, he would forgot him. Then his life would go on like a normal human being. Maybe he should better leave the home, where he spent many year of his life. He still had the money and documentations that were given by Jungkook a few years ago.

"Jungkook..."

"Yes, Jinnie?" He asked with a warm smile, looking up from the book he was reading.

Seokjin hesitated to tell him what he wanted to. It had been a long time since Jungkook had stopped himself distancing from him and he seemed happier than before. He smiled more, laughed a lot when they both played like kids. Since they fixed the matter, the vampire seemed happier than ever...ah, this was making him hesitate badly.

"Jinnie?"

"Ah~ I'm sorry, I was just lost in thought."

"I know already, but you wanted to ask me something?"

"Ah...I...I...wanted to ask...about..uh...the city... I want to go there."

"What?" the vampire's eyes saddened, it made his heart ache.

"I was...I want to eat icecream and I wanted to know if it wouldn't bother you to accompany me to the city."

He had to lie because he didn't have courage to tell him what he wanted to do. He couldn't tell that he wanted to leave him to find the love of his life.

The vampire smiled brightly in response.

"First finish your dinner."
