After walking the doctor to the door, he went upstairs to see Jin.

He suppressed a grimace, seeing him again in bed, with some strange machine and I.V tubes connected to his body. But he had to be strong for him, for his Seokjin.

He walked to the chair that was placed by the side of his bed and sat down, holding the frail and aging hands of the human who slowly opened his eyes.

"What did the doctor say," was what his voice could utter.

"As always, you'll be fine." He lied. "On a scale of 0 to 10, what number would you assign."

"Seven."

"There are many other worse numbers too." He tried to humar him, "you want to rest?"

"No, I want to talk, don't want to just laying here in the bed."

"I understand." He gently stroked his hand, "what do want to talk about?"

"Do you regret having marrying a human non formally."

The whisper, which was clearly heard by the vampire, made his heart hurt.

"I can never revert something that is related to you, Jinnie. Having find you in the forest, rescuing you, has been the best decision I've ever made in my life. You saved me from disappearing myself that day, Jinnie. I'm so grateful to you if I had died, I'd never have known you, would never have experienced the love to the fullest I did with you." He took a deep breath, trying to hold his tear back.

"You remember how you always told me that I should make a wish before blowing out the candle on birthday cake."

"And you kept telling me that's a much and I'd go along with it."

"Yes...can I tell you my wish of every birthday."

"If you say it'll not be fulfilled."

"Doesn't make any difference, because it's not gonna be fulfilled."

"Okay tell me then."

"I want to eternally be by your side but you see, it's not possible to blow out more candles."

Jin smiled, squeezing Jungkook's hand.

"You said your wish out aloud, now it'll not be fulfilled...that's why I'll not tell you mine."

"There's no point in hiding it."

The human denied.

"It's just matter of faith." He looked into vampire's eyes, tears were forming in them.

"Jungkookie?"

"Yes, Jinnie?"

"Thanks..."

"Why?"

"For saving me that day...you...could've left me dying there but you didn't... Instead you gave me a chance to live and be happy...gave me a chance to know you, the privilege to love you...Thank you, Jungkookie."

The vampire could not hold himself back anymore and ended up crying, resisting his sobs, just dropping tears mutely.

He felt Seokjin's hands tighten around his, and he looked up at him again.

"Jungkookie...I want to ask you something."

"Anything, Jinnie." He said, his voice breaking as tears were flowing.

"Please, live... to find each other again, to be happy again."

"Jinnie..."

"Just...be patient, be brave, I promise we'll meet again, okay? So take my bracelet, keep it to himself, give it to me when we meet again."

"...okay, I'll live and I'll wait for you..."

He took the bracelet carefully, admiring the delicate engravings on it. On the outer side everyone can read 'Jungkook and Jin, while inside side of bracelet, there were two words written, 'Immortal Love.'

"Jungkookie."

"Yes."

"I love you...today, tomorrow... and always, even beyond the death I'll love you...because my love for you has no end."

"I love you, Kim SeokJin, for all eternity."

Amidst tears, Jungkook pressed a kiss on Jin's hand and another one kiss on his forehead. He tried to smile for him but it was so hard, didn't matter how much he tried, all could he do was crying.

And his crying worsened in the afternoon when Jin closed his eyes forever.
