The Midnight Love

Chapter XV

I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. Bella wasnt in my arms, so I rubbed my eyes and then scanned the place for her. She caught my eye, standing in the kitchen warming the cups of blood for us. She was wearing another one of my buttondown dress shirts and panties, which I obviously had a thing for and she had her hair tied up in a pony tail.

I rolled out of bed and walked into the kitchen. "you're naked, my love." she said without looking at me. I looked down at myself and blushed. "sorry baby." I apologized. "it's ok honey, obviously I like it." she turned and winked at me. I winked back as I turned and went into my drawer and found a pair of boxers. I put them on and turned to see her holding both of our warm mugs with a smile. I kissed her softly before taking my mug and drinking it down quickly. I sat down and she curled up on my lap and sipped her cup. I ran my hands up and down her smooth legs and admired their pearly white color. "you're so beautiful." I said to her, almost not noticing it escaped my lips. She blushed and hid her face in my neck. "baby, stop." she giggled and kissed me over and over.

"do you have to go today?" she asked me softly as I held her tightly on my lap. "Yeah, but only for a meeting and then I can come home for dinner. ok sweetheart?" I said to her. She nodded with a pout and I sighed. "dont pout." I complained, but that only fueled the fire as she pouted harder. "come here." I leaned down and began to kiss her for a while. Her arms uncrossed over her chest and made their way around my neck. My hands made their way around her waist as our tounges danced together in perfect harmony. As we slowly rolled over and made our way to our bed without releasing our kissing, the doorbell rang and I groaned angrily. I went to the door while pulling on my jeans.

I opened the door and a woman in a green camoflauge outfit was at the door. She looked startled and cleared her throat as she stared at my body, probably taken back by all the tattoos but I couldnt really tell. Bella had obviously had her own opinion on why she was staring at me because she came to the door, "can we help you miss?" she said with an attitude, and I poked her side trying to signal her to stop but she pushed my hand away and had her hands on her hips. I rolled my eyes and decided to tie my hair back, knowing that there was a chance this could get ugly.

She finally broke her gaze from my chest and stomach and seemed to flinch when she finally noticed Bella. "Yes miss, im sorry. ummm... well... ummm... sir, the meeting is starting and your presence is a primary requirment." she stuttered. "He'll be there when he's ready." Bella blurted out angrily. "she means I'm on my way now, thank you private." I interjected into this conversation sensing the building tension. The woman, who had short cropped blonde hair, almost the same color as Bella's nodded at me, saluted, and then walked away.

Bella closed the door and looked at me with her hands on her hips. "She was checking you out" she hissed at me. "I'm sure she wasnt sweetheart, she was just surprised at the tattoos. Around here they probably dont see many people like me. most of them think im a freak anyway, baby." i said to her. "oh no no no. I know that look when I see it, she knows the tattoos are sexy, and the big chest and six pack dont help either." she pouted, "you think im sexy?" I grinned and winked at her. She giggled and slapped my chest as she pushed my back into bed and sat on top of my as I laid back. "I think you're the sexiest man/vampire i've ever seen in my entire life." She said to me. I smiled at her and she leaned down and started to kiss me again.

She let go and jumped out of bed and ran to the closet to find me a shirt. I picked up a t shirt, "No" she said sternly and I dropped the shirt immediatly. She pulled out a long sleeved black shirt and a belt for me. I quickly put the stuff on and kissed her. "i'll see you in a little bit ok?" i said to her. "ok baby, i'm gonna go to the mall today, I want to get those curtains you like, and I also want to get new towels." she answered me and I rolled my eyes. she giggled and kissed me again. "whatever you want sweetie, I left the car keys on the counter." I told her and she nodded and kissed me again before I made my way to the conference room.
