What are we doing,
Highlighting the pain?
Is that all we see,
The hurt, the sorrow, the misery?
We see the mistakes of this world,
We see what we didn't get,
We see how unlucky we are,
We are blind to the beauty.
The beauty of nature,
The beauty of every individual,
The beauty inside of us,
The beauty of life itself.
Does no one see the goodness?
Does no one see the kindness?
Does no one see the integrity?
Does no one see the veracity?
Is it all lost,
In the crudeness of our mind?
Is our judgment too harsh,
To witness this world's magnificence?
We require photos to appreciate nature,
We require paintings to admire the details,
We require quotes to be an optimist,
We require likes to see the talent inside us.
When did we become so blind,
To not even see what's in front of us?
To not even see what's inside us?
What happened to you dear eyes?

Fact: Eyes work better than photos. Go take a look outside. Don't just stare at photos and paintings.
See your talent for yourself. Freaking believe in yourself. It doesn't matter if others don't appreciate what you do.
