Article 13

Hey I'm sorry guys, I know some of you probably thought that this was an update but it's not. I've been really busy with uni lately and it's hard to find some time to write but I promise I'm doing my best, I'm working on something with several parts so don't worry you'll have something to read soon.

However this is really really important. Shit is clearly happening. If some of you are from Europe you might already know what article 13 is. But for those that doesn't know what it is let me explain. A law has been voted about copyrights in September . But they're taking this law to the next level. Every little thing that doesn't belong to us will be considered as copyright. Like I might not be really clear, I'm bad at explaining but here's a example a French YouTuber gave us "if in a video we can see the Eiffel Tower, or a poster for a movie with characters on it, the video can be banned from YouTube because those things doesn't belong to us and we can't use it then". This is why YouTube might close in Europe, because this law won't be charging against the YouTuber but against Google itself. But it's not gonna touch only YouTube, this law will be applied to every fucking social media and that's why I'm writing this. It'll be the same on wattpad, and half of wattpad's stories are fanfictions so there's a chance that people who write fanfictions will see their work be banned. And that's what I'm scared about. Writing is clearly working when we wanna do it right, it takes time and it pisses me off to know that it might be banned because of a stupid law. They are literally putting barriers for those who creates and why? Because this law is voted by old people that doesn't understand how social medias work. They don't understand that some of us are putting real work in this, and it's even worse for youtubers because many of them are living from the money they earn from YouTube. This is something we can't accept, we start with this and then what? They'll forbid us to even breath? So maybe some of you already left this page, some of you might not care because it's just for Europe, or you stayed but maybe you don't understand why this post, but I personally think we can't let this slip.
