I'm sorry I didn't update before but uni stopped and I immediately started to work so I didn't feel like writing for a while, plus I lost all the ideas I had for this book. But now I'm back in the mood and I'm gonna open the requests again so if you want to read something special ask away.

"Y/N please I need your help on that." Peter has been pleading Y/N since the moment he got in the room but this time she couldn't do what he was asking.

"I thought you didn't want my help with that guy. Plus last time you even said you didn't even want to use Spider-Man to make him shut up and leave you alone. What made you change your mind?" Y/N looked up at Peter who was playing with his fingers. She rolled her chair from the suit that was laying on the lab table to her computer waiting for Peter's answer.

" Well... It's just... I... He... He doesn't stop, making fun of me when I say I work for your dad. Last time that he was laughing at me Ned let it slipped that I knew you very well and Flash challenged me to make you come at his party tonight. And last time we tried to use Spider-Man but it made things worse and if you don't come tonight everyone will think I'm just making everything up so people would find interest in me. And I'm really sorry to ask you this, because I don't want you to think that I use you because you're Tony's daughter, that's not the case at all. I just want him to stop, and I swear if I could find something else I would do it" Peter finally looked up at the girl that was sitting in front of him now, finally stopping his rambling.

"Hey Peter I know you're not using me don't worry. I understand why you want me to come, but tonight I really can't. I have to finish my suit. My dad asked for it to be ready before the next mission so I can train with it a little before. We leave for the mission after tomorrow, I need to finish this tonight. I'm really sorry I can't help you more." She looked up at the boy who flashed her a sad look. She didn't like to see him like that. She hated to make him sad but she had no choice, she couldn't party tonight." Maybe try to tell them the truth, that I can't come cuz I'm working but another time I'll gladly come. And maybe try to mention the fact we're dating we never know." She tried to find a solution but it wasn't helping the poor boy.

"They won't believe me anyway." He mumbled more to himself but Y/N heard it. She sighed, feeling bad for not being able to help him. She stood up and walked up to him to take him in her arms.

"I'm really sorry, I wish I could help you. I hate leaving you in a bad situation." She mumbled in his neck

"It's okay I understand, the mission is more important don't worry."

"Maybe you shouldn't go." Y/N suggested.

"I have to or it'll give him one more reason to make fun of me. Plus I promised Ned we'd go so I can't let him down." They pulled away and Y/N put her hands on each side of his head looking straight into his eyes, silently asking him if he was sure. He nodded and she let go of him."I gotta go, I need to get prepared. I'll take my suit maybe I can try to use Spider-Man again maybe it'll work this time." Y/N nodded. Peter gave her a quick peck on the lips before turning around to leave the room, his eyes still full of sadness.

It has been 3 hours since Peter left and Y/N didn't manage do get anything done on her suit. The sadness in Peter's eyes when he left for the party was haunting her since he set foot outside the lab. She tried to ignore it ans work on her suit but she just couldn't. Peter had never let her down, and she always promised him that she would never let him down either but that's exactly what she did. He needed her, and she didn't really try to help him. For some Peter's request would sound stupid but it wasn't for her. As long as it was something Peter cared for, or something important for him, Y/N would never think his requests are stupid because she cared for him. What was important for him was important for her. That's why the more she thought about it the more she realized she should've gone with him. She shouldn't have sent him off like she did.
