Chapter Eight

JADE'S POV

I wake up to the light streaming from the window. I get up, to feel my head throbbing, and my stomach turning. I open my eyes, to see myself half naked, only wearing my bra and underwear. I look around, seeing that I'm in Dan's room.

"What the fuck?!" I muttered.

What exactly happened last night? I couldn't remember anything, till the point where we entered the bar. How many drinks did I take? Many questions flowed in my head from last night. I got up from bed, trying to walk to the door, but that failed miserably. My legs were so weak, I could hardly stand up, causing me to hit my head against the bed.

"OW!" I yelped.

I heard the door swing open, I turn to see Dan worried.

"What happened?" he says concerned.

I got up from the floor, rubbing the place where I hit my head.

"I tried walking, but my legs were weak, and I fell"

I then saw Dan cover his eyes, turning around. At first I was confused, till I realized I was half naked. I quickly grabbed a shirt that was laying on the ground, putting it on. It was Dan's 'Danosaur' shirt, and it was way to big for me, which was good, since it reached to my knees.

"You can now turn around" I said awkwardly.

He turned, and smiled.

"Dan?" I asked.

"What is it?" he replies.

"What happened last night?"

His eyes got wide, looking the other direction. He definitely knew something.

"Dan, tell me. I found myself half naked, something happened"

He sat down on the bed, covering his face with his hands.

"Okay... something happened last night" he confessed.

I sat down next to him, hoping I didn't do anything I'd regret.

"Dan, tell me, you're scaring me, what did I do?"

"It wasn't you that did something wrong....it was me"

"What?"

I got confused, what did he mean that he did something wrong?

"So, you were completely drunk, and I found you dancing with some guy, so I took you away, since I didn't want you to do anything stupid. We got in the cab, it drove us back to my place, and when we made it, you could hardly stand up, so I carried you to the building, and things happened." he says

"What kind of things happened?"

"When I carried you in the building, you were doing stuff, such as playing with my neck....then you started kissing it."

I felt my face turn bright red.

"Oh" is all I could say.

"And, I should've stopped you from doing it, but I didn't, which I regret. We then made to the flat, and I started kissing you. Things happened, involving you taking off your dress, and I couldn't do it, so I stopped."

"Wait, what?! You used me!"

"What!, No! I would never do that" he defended back.

I felt pure anger in me, but also hurt.

"NO! If you wouldn't do that, than you should've stopped when I kissed you, you took advantage of me!"

I got up, grabbing my bags from the corner of the room. He took advantage of me, what a dick.

"Jade! I would never do anything to hurt you, it was just-"

"JUST WHAT!? YOU ALMOST USING ME FOR YOUR NEEDS!....I'm out of here"

I took my bags, almost exiting his room, till he grabs my hand, making me drop everything. He pulls me close to him, him holding my hands and our eyes meet.

"I didn't use you. It was just, when we kissed, it was amazing,and it was everything that I thought it would be. Jade, I love you, and I always have, since middle school." he whispers in my ear.

I could only stare at his hazel brown eyes, I felt bad about everything, but happy. He loves me. He feels the same way.

"Dan I-" he interrupts me.

"Before you say anything, I have more to say, since I finally have the guts to say them. I love you, with all my might, and I know this is a lot to say, but I always did. I wanted to ask you out so bad, but you'd always be in a relationships, and I'm a huge coward. But mostly I didn't want to ruin our friendship. I love being your friend, and I never wanted it to end, but I wanted to be more than friends. Now I bet you don't want to be friends anymore, and I'm sorry."

I literally had no words to comprehend. I never thought that he actually loved me, through all of these years. He looked down, feeling ashamed. I lift his chin, to look straight at me. I gave him a smile, and leaned in. Our lips touched, and it felt, and this sounds so cheesy, but fireworks. He moves back from the kiss. He wraps his around my waist, looking straight at me.

"I love you Jade Sanders" he whispers

"And I love you Dan Howell"

After us being the best of friends, we're finally together.

Nicole, should I be sleeping right now? Yes I should, but #YOLO. Yes, I just did that. Here's a special chapter tonight, since I was in a mood for writing. Sorry that this is short, but it was worth it. I hope you like it! I'd appreciate the feedback.~Nicole
