Chapter Ten

JADE'S POV 

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I quickly grabbed it, turning it off, so I won't wake up Dan. I checked the time, 7:30. I slowly turn to see Dan still fast asleep, looking adorable. I ran my fingers through his hair, admiring his sleepiness. I love seeing Dan first thing in the morning, it always makes me smile. I got out of bed, changing out of my pajamas. I wore a plain pink shirt with some shorts. I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen writing down where I was going, cause Dan's always worried about me when I go out. I put the note next to him, so he was able to discover it when he first wakes up. I gave him a soft kiss on the cheek, leaving his room. I closed the door, walking out of the flat. As I was walking down the stairs, I called up Addison.

"Morning Addison" I greeted

"Morning, so you're still meeting me at my place, right?" she asks

"Yep, I'm on my way right now!"

"Okay, see you then"

I hung up, walking down the street. Can't wait to finally have my own place.

DAN'S POV

I stretched out my arms to pull Jade to me, but I didn't feel her. I quickly open my eyes. She wasn't there. I bolted up,feeling scared. I start to worry, till I found a crumpled piece of paper on my bed. I uncrumpled it to see that it was from Jade.

Went out with Addison for the day, don't worry too much!

I chuckled on what she wrote, she'd know that I'll worry. Just, she'd always get in trouble with the guys she dated. One got her in jail, then another tried hurting her, but last was being cheated on. I'd see her cry about them, seeing her cry makes me feel like crap. I try my best to make her happy. I won't be like all her other boyfriends, I'll actually care for her.  I changed into some black jeans and my moth shirt.

I walked out of my room to see Phil on his laptop.

"Hey Phil" I greet

"Hey Dan"

"Heard about Addison and Jade going out today?"

"Yeah, Addison texted me she'd be going out, but she didn't tell me where though, like she usually does" he says.

"Maybe she just forgot"

"Maybe" he says.

I was a bit bored, Phil obviously was going to be on his laptop all day, watching cat videos like always. I took out my phone to see who I could hang out with today. I first called out PJ and Chris, but they were busy, so I scrolled down my contacts to see Loni. Maybe she's available.

"Hey Loni" I say

"Hi Dan!" she says a bit to excited.

"Are you free today?"

"YES! I mean totally, how come all of a sudden you want to hang out? we haven't hung out in a while"

"Eh, I didn't want to be coped up inside, so I just wanted to hang out with someone today"

"Okay, want to meet up at the park, next to that cafe?" she asks

"Sure, meet you in five minutes"

I hung up, getting ready. I went to the door, turning to tell Phil that I was going out. He just nodded, not even paying attention to what I was saying. Him and his cat videos. I took off, taking the lift down. I exited the building, heading to the park. After a few minutes I made it, seeing Loni waiting on a bench. I blended in with some people, so she wouldn't notice me. I made it around, me behind her. I crept behind her, putting my hands over her eyes.
