Chapter Nine

JADE'S POV

Dan and I were sitting on the couch, watching whatever was on TV. His arms wrapped around me, and my head against his shoulder. I finally felt safe in a relationship for once. The room was silent, but not awkward. Wait, the room is silent...Where's Phil?

"Dan" I said looking up at him.

"Yes love"

I instantly smiled when he said 'love'. It seemed so official.

"Love?" I asked

"Yes, my love" he says holding on to my hand.

I began blushing, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"So, where's Phil?" I asked

"Hanging out with Addison, like usual"

A smirk grew on my face, I got up, sitting on top of Dan's lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him close to me.

"So, that means we're alone?" I whispered in his ear.

"I guess so" he pulls me even closer to him. Our faces were just a few centimeters away, him licking his lips.

"Do you know what I want to do right now?" I smirked.

"What?" he says rubbing my thigh. I lean in, but in the corner of my eye was a Wii remote. I grabbed it, putting it in between us.

"PLAY MARIO KART!" I yelled.

He starts laughing, pushing me off of his lap, causing me to fall on my bum.

"Oww" I wined.

"That's what you get for being such a tease" he sticks out his tongue.

I got up, walking all sassy like.

"Not my fault I'm so smexy" I strike a pose.

He laughs, while grabbing the other Wii remote on the table. I turned on the Wii, while Dan does something on his phone.

"Picture time!" he says turning on the camera. I put the Wii remote over my mouth to show that we were playing the Wii, he did the same as well. He took the pic, I grabbed the phone out of his hands to see.

"We look like total nerds" I giggled

"Well, you're my nerd" he retrieves his phone back.

"Wow, so romantic" I say sarcastically

He got on Instagram, and wrote this as the caption

Playing Mario Kart with this Nerd <3

He posted it, then turned off his phone.

"Shall we start" he says

"We shall"

After that we start playing.

 "No,no,no,NO!" Dan yells

"YES I WON SUCKER!" I yell with pride.

He heard the door open, to see Phil and Addison.

"You guys are so loud, we could hear you by the lift" Phil says

I looked over to Dan.

"Sorry I'm not sorry, it's not my fault that Dan is bad at Mario Kart" I laughed out.

He then pushes me, making me fall off the couch. All of them started laughing at me.

"Abusive boyfriend over here! I can report you to the police young man!" I sarcastically say.

Dan reaches his hand, pulling me back to the couch. He wraps his arm around me, kissing my cheek. We both turn back to Phil and Addison, both having shocked faces on.

"Are you guys a couple?" Addison asks.

"Yep, and I'm happy we finally are" Dan grins, looking at me.

I smile, blushing a bit. I can finally trust a guy, that won't hurt me, like the others did. He was different. He's my best friend. I fell in love with him, but I never knew, till now.

"AWWWWW" Addison squealed out, making me escape from my thoughts.

I start to laugh, on how excited she was about us. It was the same reaction I did when Phil was talking their relationship. They sat down next to us asking many questions, on 'when did you guys become a thing?', 'what happened?' and so on. Both of us explained what happened.

"Awwww! I'm so glad you guys are together!" Addison says with glee.

"It's about time you guys dated" Phil says

Dan and I share a laugh, I'm happy that we have friends that are happy for us. While they were talking, I grabbed my phone, going on Instagram. I scroll down to see the picture Dan posted. I looked through the comments to see the same ones like

Who's she? Are they dating? I ship it! NUUUU BUT PHAN!

I laughed at all the phan comments, but realizing his fans doesn't know who I am. We only been dating for literally a couple of hours, announcing it a bit to soon? Maybe I should ask Phil. Has he announced that Addison and him are dating?

"Phil" I said

"Yeah?" Phil replies

"Have you announced that you and Addison are dating?"

He turned to Addison, giving her a smile.

"Actually, not yet.  I will soon, when I feel more comfortable about the world knowing about it. Why? "

I turn to Dan,  which he looks back at me.

"Seeing the comments on the picture Dan posted on Instagram. A lot of people are concerning about Phan" I chuckled.

We all just let out a laugh. Today had been so great for me, dating the guy I like, and having two great friends here. This is the greatest day I had so far. Phil grabbed his phone out of his pocket to check the time. He got up from the couch, straightening his shirt out.

" Dan, it's time to go down to the radio" he says

"What! Already!" Dan whines

He got up, giving me a goodbye kiss.

"We'll be back soon, don't do anything stupid when we're gone"

I rolled my eyes, sticking out my tongue. They both waved goodbye, closing the door. It was just Addison and I....which meant GIRL TIME!

"ADDISON!" I yelled with excitement

"JADE!" she yells back

"GUESS WHAT TIME IT IS?"

"2:35?"

"NO, GIRL TIME"

She laughed, after that we started talking about a lot of things. Such as jobs, high school, then past relationships. I didn't feel comfortable talking about that subject, since that obviously didn't end well, but also.....I missed Josh. Yes I said it, I miss him. Like how can I not? We dated for two years, that was the longest relationship I ever kept. I honestly thought we'd still be dating now, but I have Dan now. He''s better than Josh, he at least didn't break my heart. But, I wished he didn't.

"So, are you staying here in London, since I heard you were visiting" Addison asks, while she gets up getting a glass of water.

"Yeah, I just need to find my own place, which is going to be hard"

"Oh, I can help you there, I know a few places that are vacant around here. We an go flat hunting tomorrow morning." she says

"Oh my gosh! Thanks Addison! Can't wait" I gleamed a smile at her.
