Waking up in the morning with Eliza snuggled in his arms and her soft snores filling the silent room were the greatest feelings in the world. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and the breeze was blowing.

Rubin felt like a man on top of the world! And then he heard the tiny footsteps and the door crashed open.

“MOMMY!” Anna screamed and Rubin held his breath when Eliza rolled over. He quickly jumped out of bed, careful not to jostle Eliza awake, and ran towards Anna, who was ready to let out another scream.

“Sshh, sweetheart,” he picked her up and carried her out of the room. He placed her down and started whispering to her, “Now pumpkin, how about we surprise mommy with some breakfast?” Rubin asked and Anna quickly nodded her head yes.

“She gonna be so happy!” Anna giggled and ran towards the kitchen. Rubin ran after her when he heard the sound of pots and pans being banged together.

“Anna, we have to be quiet so she can be surprised.” He explained to her in a whisper and Anna quickly slapped her hand over her mouth and looked at Rubin seriously….. for about two seconds and started to giggle wildly.

She began taking out pancake batter and eggs, and Rubin just watched her. She was just so cute! She turned from trying to climb on the counter for plates and cups and smiled at Rubin brightly.

Rubin sighed and smiled brightly at his beautiful little girl, man she’s going to be a heartbreaker when she is older, Rubin could guarantee that. He grimaced and his heart hurt a little at that thought. He couldn’t even think about his little girl in a relationship.

God if any little boy took advantage of his baby, he would stuff their balls so far up their ass they would cry for their momma’s and if that didn’t work he would buy a shotgun for those little human boys.

Speaking of humans, is Anna one? I mean, her father was an Alpha but her mother is a human, that’s never happened before. Rubin decided that he would ask Eliza if she noticed anything non-human like about Anna.

God, human boys and the possible chance of Anna being a werewolf, so that means werewolf boys also, were just too much for his heart to take. He rubbed his head and quickly got of the subject.

          “Daddy?” Anna called.

“Yes, baby.” He looked up and was attacked with a fist full of pancake flour in his face. Anna dropped down and giggled wildly. Rubin chuckled and picked up some pancake mix and threw it on her. Anna stood and ran at Rubin, who opened his arms in a big bear hug and engulfed Anna in his arms.

Anna giggled some more and dumped the whole bowl of pancake mix on the floor and started making pancake mix angels.

Rubin laughed and dumped some more on the floor and began making one two. When they were done they got up to inspect their handy work, they were met with the outline of a really tiny body and a really huge body, they both laughed.
