Superman can fly, but I bet he can't love like you do.At six I smiled at you and when you smiled back patting my head,
I realized that you're my 'first love' like the actress said in our small t.v.
Superman have superpowers, but I bet he can't work for long hours like you do.
At nine I made our home my own Narnia, I wanted you to be my companion.
You said you were too old to live in my world.
Superman can take down the villains, but I bet he can't scare the monsters hiding under my bed like you do by kissing me goodnight.
At 11 I wanted you to pick me up from school, like my friend's dad always did,
But I was just happy when mum said you called and asked about me.
Superman have people's love, but I can never love him like I love you.
I counted the days for you to come back to where you belong, I always do.
I hugged you with tears begging you to never leave again, but I know that you have to.
I prayed every night for God to help me make you proud,
I loved you making me laugh when I was let down by this cruel world.
Superman can go freeze his butt off in Krypton, because he will never warm my heart like you do.
You're my cape-less superman.
