Hey, I wanna confess
After six years of being just friends.
I fell in love with your smile at first sight,
It was just too bright.
I only talked with you in the school bus,
I wanted to tell the driver "never bother to rush"
You asked me about my taste in music,
Then I shared all my songs with you.
You asked me if I would eat that cookie,
Then I shared all my snacks with you,
I could hear my heart beating,
Hell I could feel a blush spreading
Covering my chubby-chubby cheeks.
To the boy who never knew,
I looked everyday to ride this awful yellow bus.
Because of you
I had a chance to feel the warmness of love,
But I guess this was just a plus.
Funny how you seemed above the sky one day,
I smiled at your happiness,
And wished for it to be always on display.
You told me you asked some girl out,
My heart broke.
Then I asked what the hell are you talking about.
You smile just grew,
And repeated your words without a single doubt.
To the end of the story that never began,
You saw me as a good friend,
I always put you in my heart as something more.
Foolish I know.
Pardon my stupidity,
But never pardon my feelings.
To the boy who never knew.
I have loved you truly.
I hope now you know.
