“Everyone was born to care; it’s something we’re meant to share and not to keep to ourselves all alone.” – Kelly S.

It was already Saturday. Two days after Christmas which was December 27th. Ollie and Lorna were already dressed up to go to the library. Ollie had told her dad who reluctantly allowed her to go. She got ready, told her sisters goodbye and went to Lorna’s house.
When she arrived there, Lorna was already coming out of the house. Then, they went to the library. They got there and heard Fay’s voice. They turned and saw her coming towards them.
“Fay,” Lorna said and hugged her. “I’m glad you could make it.”
“Yeah, me too,” Fay replied as she now hugged Ollie.
“Where are we going to make our plans?” Ollie asked.
“Let’s get into the library first,” Fay suggested.
“Okay,” Lorna said. “Let’s go.”
They walked into the library, greeted and went to the book shelves. They scanned through the books and went outside.
“Nothing’s working here,” Fay complained.
“No. I saw Aunt Millicent in there, the one who owns one of the biggest fashion shops. And I have a plan, only that she’s goin’ to approve it first,” Ollie said.
“Okay, so what’s the plan?” Lorna asked.
“We would invite Jill to Aunt Millicent’s workshop and Aunt Millicent will be there. Aunt Millicent’s niece who was with her in the library will also be around. She would be dressed to show that she’s not related to Aunt Millicent, but as a worker. I’m very sure Jill will insult her and when it’s time for us to go, Aunt Millicent will reveal that the supposed worker is her niece and Jill will be ashamed. She’ll then realize her mistakes and ask for forgiveness,” Ollie said.
“It’s a good plan,” Fay said.
“Um… how are we sure Jill will be ashamed?” Lorna asked.
“Jill loves Aunt Millicent’s designs very well,” Fay replied. “But are we sure this will work?”
“If Aunt Millicent agrees, I’m very sure it will work,” Ollie said and paused. “Aunt Millicent is coming out now, let’s talk to her.”
“Is she going to listen to us?” Fay asked.
“I’m sure, let’s go,” Lorna said and started going, while Ollie and Fay still stood. She looked back and saw them and said, “Ollie, where has your courage gone to?”
“Um… I’m coming,” Ollie replied.
“C’mon, she’ll soon leave,” Lorna urged. “Fay, if you can’t come, you can wait for us here. We’ll be back soon,” she said as she dragged Ollie along.
Then, they walked up to her and greeted.
“Good afternoon, madam,” they both greeted.
“Oh, afternoon. How are you?” Aunt Millicent replied.
“We’re fine.”
“Can I do anything for you?”
“Yes, please, you can. I’m Lorna Crane and she’s Olivia Flander. Please, where is your niece?” Lorna asked.
“She’s still inside. I’ll come to take her later.”
“Madam… ”
“Please, do away with the ‘madam’ thing. Call me Aunt Millicent,” she interrupted.
“Aunt Millicent, please we want you to do us a favour,” Lorna said.
“And what is it?”
“We’re having problems with our friend who is not here and we want you to help us.”
“How?”
Lorna summarized everything between Jillian, Fay and the both of them. Ollie told her of the plan too.
“Hmmm, that’s a good plan you’ve got there. But which date have you fixed to come?” Aunt Millicent asked.
“We’ve not fixed any date yet. We wanted you to approve of it first,” Lorna replied.
“Okay. I’ll be busy throughout this coming week. Let’s say, we’ll meet next two weeks Saturday,” Aunt Millicent suggested.
“Does that mean you’re doing it?” Ollie asked, wide-eyed.
“Yeah,” she replied, smiling.
Ollie looked back and gestured for Fay to come. She came and Ollie introduced her.
“This is Fay Clooney, Jillian’s ex-best friend.”
“Okay,” Aunt Millicent said. “So, is the date okay for all of you?”
“Yes,” Lorna and Ollie chorused.
“What date?” Fay asked.
“Next two weeks Saturday, the 10th of next month,” Ollie replied her.
“It’s okay,” Fay said. “So, who’s goin’ to give her the invitation card?”
“Ollie will do it,” Lorna said, leaving an open-mouthed Ollie to stare at her. “And we need Aunt Millicent to sign on it.”
“I hope you’re not changing, Lorenina?” Ollie said and they all laughed.
They tore out a sheet of paper and scribbled down:
