The 'Big' Thing

~Brie's POV~

"Well we should get you packing, yeh?" I ask with a small smile pulling away from Nikki.

Nikki nods, wiping the remaining tears from her eyes.

I get off the bed and walk towards Nikki's drawer, with her following behind. I open the top, while telling Nikki to go get her suitcases. She went to the closet and took out her biggest suitcase which is blue, and her other two smaller pink and green suitcase. She leaves the suitcases by her drawer so she can get get her backpack from under her bed. I open one of her small pink suitcases and start packing her undergarments and socks. I zip up the suitcase and start to reach for the next small suitcase, when I hear a scream that sounded like Nikki's. I instantly pull back my arm and at her.

"What happened?" I asked worried.

"There's a big spider under the bed!" Nikki exclaims while pointing to the bottom of her bed. She's always had a fear of spiders.

"Nicole, don't be so dramatic." I roll my eyes.

"Then you look under my bed and kill it."

"Fine hand me one of your shoes."

"No. Use one of your shoes." She gives a weird look.

"Why can't you let me use one of your shoes?" I ask.

"I don't want gross spider germs on my shoe." She gives me a disgusted look. "Just use one of your shoes." Nikki begs.

"It's your problem, your shoe." I give her 'the look'.

She finally gives in and gets one of her converse from the closet and hands it to me.

"Now go under my bed and kill it." She pushes me towards her bed. I roll my eyes and lay down on my stomach, ready to go under. I start to crawl under her bed, flashing the flashlight I brought all over the hard wooden floor thats beneath Nikki's bed.

"Nikki there's no spi- AHHHHHH!!!" I scream and immediately wiggle myself out of Nikki's bed.

"It's so big!" I exclaim.

"I know. Why do you think I screamed earlier?!?!" She tells me like its obvious. Well it is but, no need to rub my face in it.

"Well yah but I didn't think it was that huge! You always exaggerate!"

"Well not this time huh?" She says hitting the back of my head.

"Go kill it!" I say throwing the shoe at her. She smacks the shoe with her hand so it falls to the ground.

"No way! You said you were!"

"We'll I changed my mind. And it's under your bed so its not my problem!" I yelled.

"Fine don't kill it but neither am I. You're gonna be the one that has to live with it." "I'm gonna be the one leaving TODAY, and you're going to have sleep in this very room knowing there's a spider in here." Nikki tries to scare me.

"Shut up!" I say.

"Well it's not my fault it's the truth."

"KILL IT!" I yell.

"NO!"

"COME ON! IT'S THE LEAST YOU COULD DO!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S YHE LEAST I COULD DO?" She asks confused.

"FINE WE'LL BOTH GO!" I say.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Okay lets do this." She says while taking a moment to close her eyes and taking a deep breath.

Okay so you guys told me to update so I did. I know this one sucked but its just a filler. I kinda went overboard with the whole spider thing. I promise next chapter it will be when Nikki finally leaves the orphanage. And there will be drama starting in the next few chapters so stay tuned!
