Okay so first I would like to make a few comments before the chapter starts so let's begin. First of all thank you to all of those people who have read my story! I now have over 500 reads which is so cool! Second, this chapter was originally planned to be posted because I had 400 reads but now I made 500, so instead of just making one chapter for both 400 and 500 reads, I'm going to post another chapter after this dedicated to my story having 500 reads. Okay so enough about me, and lets start with Nikki and Brie. (I know, it kind of rhymed!)

~Brie's POV~

As soon as Nikki stepped foot in the car with 6 other boys, I kept my eyes on the car waving my hand, showing that I'm saying bye. She kept on waving back, until she couldn't see me, and I couldn't see her.  After a little while of just standing on the sidewalk of the orphanage and staring at the road, only moving my eyes to blink, Melody came over to me, hugged me, and started gesturing me to go back inside in the orphanage with her, to join several other kids who are sure to be adopted but not me. I walked inside and I started walking towards the stairs slowly, making my way to our room, let me correct that, MY room.

I eventually got there after a few minutes and I sat on my bed, looking around at my half empty room. Only one side of the room was decorated, and unfortunately it was mine. I was staring at the blue wall, which we had gotten permission from Melody to paint. One half of the room was blue (Nikki's side) and the other half of the room was red, which was my side. We practically begged Melody to let us paint the room. We eventually convinced with the part of we are responsible for moving our dressers, beds, etc. What really got her was the part of us paying for the paint. Yah, that was it for sure. Really, all I could think about was the memories I had with Nikki here. The reason why I was here. My family. I know I shouldn't be thinking of her, it would only make matters worse, but I can't help it.

I tried to think of other important things, like my homework I has from school at the orphanage and how I could get a job to save up for the new iPhone 6. I know it's gonna be a few months until it comes out, but I might as well start saving up for it. After a few minutes of thinking about possible jobs, my mind turned back to Nikki. The only thing that gets my mind off of things is to pennyboard. So that was my brilliant idea. I opened up the closet door and took out my pennyboard from the corner. I put it under my arm, grabbed my wallet, and stuck my iPhone 5s in my pocket. I walked down the stairs and found Melody in the lobby.

"Hey Melody, I'm gonna be out for a while, kay?"

"Sure, be back by 8:30, though."

I nodded and made my way towards the door.

Okay that was my chapter for 400 reads! My next chapter might now be up until later tonight or tomorrow. But that's it. Please, please, please share this story with strangers, your friends, family, and pets. It really helps me out! Also do me a favor, vote, comment, fan, and share this story. I will also have an announcement in the upcoming chapter so stay tuned! But that's about it so, see you next chapter!
