Almost 10 min had passed but there was no sign of Karan & Navya.I decided to go backstage to check on them.And saw a disheartened & angry looking Navya scolding Karan,while he sat on a chair with a painful expression on his face.“Karu I'm not performing alone,we've practiced together & since because of your stupidity u sprained your leg,I won't leave u here.”“Woah,what happened guys?”I said making their gaze shift towards me.“Nothing much bro,I just sprained my leg while trying something new& won't be able to perform today.I'm telling her to perform alone but she isn't listening” he said looking at Navya.“U need to see a doctor right now karu,plus our performance requires a partner, let's just cancel it”She said looking exhausted.“It's not that serious Navu,I'll be better after using a spray & then we can for a checkup to the doctor.But if u don't perform,I'll not be visiting any doctor.”he said giving a challenging look to her.“But kar..”she was about to say something that's when I  interrupted,“Don't worry Navya,his injury doesn't looks that serious & for gods sake stop frowning otherwise you'll have wrinkles”I said trying to ease up her mood.She gave me a small smile while rolling her eyes.“Btw,what's your song?”I added.“It's called ‘Morni Banke’ ”she answered.“Call yourself lucky or what but I know that song.So,I can be your partner if u want”I replied.“You?”she asked puzzled.“But you're from the opposition team,how can we pair up”she said frowning.Kudos to her childishness.“Oh come on Panda,it isn't a cricket match & even in cricket we do this sometimes when the players of opposition aren't well”I said waiting for her answer.“Is it okay with u Karu”she asked turning towards him.God why do she has to care so much.“On other days,it wouldn't be okay, but in current situation I don't have any problem.You're lucky mate”he said turning towards me .“I'd never leave this opportunity like that” he added smiling & looking at Navya.It kind of pissed me off.“So,r u gonna dance,or should I go back?”I asked restlessly looking at her. “Sure,let's do this”she said intaking a long breath.Then,we sprayed some pain relief spray on his leg &bidded our bye.
