Spring brings peace and hope,
flowers coloured pink and green.
new life in the world.
Summer inspires love,
longer days and shorter nights.
more time for heartbreak.
Autumn rains and pours,
blows leaves to the floor, and joy
right out the window.
Winter leaves the ground
frozen as ice, cold as stone,
not a bit of warmth.
