Chapter 5: He's Back!

I made my way into the the western watch tower, because that is what way they are coming from.

I walked up the stairs and made my way into the room,"Kyomi!" I was greeted my one of the soldiers bit I didn't recognize him I just stood there awkwardly.

"Oh um hello I just wanted to keep an eye out for Tenzin's arrival" I said awkwardly.

"Kyomi?" he asked.

I looked around the room awkwardly,"y-yeah?"

"Wow, you don't recognize me?"

"Should I?" He took off his helmet and it clicked, I immediately recognized the guard dressed in white and blue.

"Hinata!" I yelled and attacked him in a hug.

He laughed and hugged me back,"It's so good to see you Kia."

I pulled back,"How is this possible?" I asked with a stupid smile plastered on my face.

I had met Hinata in school when I was in second grade he was a third grader(I don't know how the school system is in ATLA and LOK srry), he was my tutor. And after several weeks we became the best of friends. We were friends for about a year and then my mother was convinced by the other masters to pull me out of school so I could focus more on my bending. I was home schooled, however I begged my mom over and over and over again to let him come over since I wasn't aloud to leave the compound, and eventually she said yes.
The first time he came in the compound he told me he wanted to be them he wanted to grow up and become a member of the white lotus and a few years that's what he did, he left and trained to become a member.

"I was told and I asked to be recuited to protect the compound of the avatar from threats of the red- um let's just leave it at threats."

I giggled,"I don't care, I just, you're back!" I hugged him again tightly, him returning the hug.

I pulled back and punched him in the shoulder,"Why didn't you tell me you were here!" I asked angrily.

"I got here two days ago!" He rubbed the shoulder I had punched," Gosh one second you're hugging me like your life depends on it, then your mad like I insulted your mother.... You haven't changed a bit."

I laughed,"Sorry I just, I've missed you."

He grinned,"I've missed you too. Kia-"

"Hinata you are needed in the 0200 side of the compound" a man dressed in white and blue said interrupting Hinata. Hinata nodded and followed the man, before he walked through the door frame he turned around mocking the man.

I giggled. He mouthed meet at the platform a sunset. I bit my lip with a grin and nodded. He smiled and turned around leaving.

Wow Hinata is finally back. To bad I had to leave

Moments later I saw something off in the distance, I squinted trying to see what the object was, then it clicked,"Tenzin!" I yelled and ran down the tower stairs.
