- J a m e s POV -

Today was the day. I was having surgery on my brain and I was going to be cancer free once out of that operating table. All day up until about 5 o'clock I was being prepped for surgery. All of my hair was shaved off and I was being admitted into the hospital. All the guys were by my side all day, especially Aleks. Every time there was one person allowed to stay in the room, it was always Aleks who was the one. 

To be honest, I was terrified about today. I was scared I wasn't going to wake up and that I wasn't going to be able to see any of the guys ever again. I, thankfully, was able to push those thoughts aside and have positive ones shoved in there. I believed I was going to wake up and have no issues at all. All of the tumor would be gone and I would be healthy. I would go home with Aleks and I would share that intimate moment I've been waiting for.

Yes, I wanted to have an intimate moment with Aleks. I wanted to hold him in my arms afterwords and whisper sweet things about how our life was going to be. I've been holding off on telling him I love him and kissing him. I want to be healthy and I don't want either of us to have to wake up in the morning wondering if I'm going to get worse. I want to wake up with him with no worries at all. 

- A l e k s POV -

The love of my life was going to have surgery today. I was a little excited because, I believed in James to pull through, I knew he was going to pull through. I stuck by his side through thick and thin of this, ever since I found out. I have never once left his side, and I wasn't ever going to leave his side. 

We were in the room where they were getting ready to carry you off to the operating room. I was sitting next to James, holding his hand. Jordan, Sly, Seamus and Dan were all in the room. The nurse came in and interrupted the random babbling of us all. 

"You need to say your see ya laters and then we are going to carry you off, Mr. Wilson." She gave us all a smile and then with that left. 

Now, my heart was racing. James was going to be taken away from me and I'd have to wait several hours to hear the news about him. 

Jordan was the first to speak. 

"James, you come out of this. We need you, we need you for the GROUP!" He shouted as he smiled. James nodded. 

"I'll try my best, Hordan."

Dan was next. 

"James, bunny bust must live on. We need you for that part. I'll see you when you come out, bud." He shook James hand and hugged him. He gave him a small smile then left. 

Seamus was third, he didn't say much. All he did, was stare at James. He gave him a nod and it seemed as if James knew everything Seamus wanted to say. 

Sly was fourth.

"JAMIES! You are going to get your head cut open and you already look like a bald man, I'll make you gorgeous once you're awake. See ya later, alligator." Eddie winked as he left the room and James was left laughing. 

Last was me. 

I stood up as I leaned over James. He stopped laughing as he was looking at me. 

"James, I know you'll come out of this. So I'm not going to have any sad goodbyes. Just know that I love you and I always will." 

He was about to speak before the nurse came in. 

"Mr. Wilson, it's time." 

God that sounded like a death sentence. 

- J a m e s POV -

Everyone seemed to be in an enlightened mood, and they all believed in me. Except for me. I didn't believe and my thoughts got the better of me. As Aleks said his goodbye I went to respond to him when the nurse cut me off. They all started coming in and repositioning my bed. They were lowering me down and started to wheel me out. 

We were about to go in the operating room til I got cold feet. 

"S-Stop!" I yelled out as the girls stopped and looked at me. 

"What is it Mr. Wilson?" 

"I want to see Aleksandr." 

A nurse went to go find Aleks and I was sitting there. I was scared, really scared. I needed to say something important to him before it was too late. 

In a few moments, Aleks was beside me. He seemed worried as he leaned over and was looking straight at me. 

"James whats wr--"

I cut him off as I pulled him down lower so my lips could reach his. I kissed him, ever so passionately. I wanted Aleks to remember this kiss and I wanted him to hear the words come from my mouth. 

"Aleksandr, I love you. I always have and always will." 

Aleks stood there silently and he was looking at me. He kissed me and then pulled away smiling. 

"I love you too, forever and always." 

With that, I was pushed into the operating room. After kissing Aleks, I knew that I was coming out alive and well.
