Min-Young stalked into the village center, Namjoon's cape fluttering behind her as she met Lee who was sat by the fountain.
"I got your letter, whats up?" He asked, looking at the girl stalking towards him until she sat down beside him - none of her moves as graceful as they used to be. "You seem angry."
"The red haired queen has Namjoon. I'll need your help getting him back."
"My help?" Lee asked, eyes wide as he looked at her face. Shadows cast across the clear skin there, making her statement seem much more violent, much more scary. "I can't even fight-"
"I'll teach you." She looked up, facing the sunlight so the shadows were cast away. That's when he saw the heartbreak and loneliness on her face. "Please..."
"I'll help you, you know I will." He smiled softly and took her hand in his.
"Thank you." And for the first time since her mind flipped, she hugged him and cried into his shoulder. Lee was taken aback by her actions, and simply wrapped his arms gently around her. Not sure on what he should do in a situation like this. He frowned slightly, his smooth face gaining wrinkles where there wasn't even traces of them prior.
After a while, she had finished crying and lead him to the cabin. "We'll train here." She smiled softly at her brother. "But we need to train hard and fast... We haven't got long before he'll be executed." Lee nodded.
"Let's get to it then." He smiled softly at her, and she nodded. A flame in her eyes that he had seen once when she knew that he had Namjoon. He smiled knowingly to himself.
Namjoon sighed in the darkness of his cell, his arms wrapped around himself for warmth as he smiled to himself. "Maybe she's realised she shouldn't have to risk her own death to save me." He whispered softly. "If that's the case, I'm glad she learnt something from being around me."
He closed his eyes, knowing it was only days until his execution. His mind drifted off to when he first met the rest of the boys, how they appointed him the leader almost instantly just because he seemed to be the wisest. He remembered when Alice first appeared in Wonderland, and when she left, brokenhearted and with Min-Young... His mind drifted to Min-Young, how her eyes smiled when she did, when her face became as still as a rock when she was serious or angry-
His heart broke a little, knowing that he would be leaving her behind shortly, and a singular tear rolled down his grubby cheek.
