Chapter Fourteen

Min-Youngs eyes snapped open in the dead of the night, the moon peeking through the window of Jin's room. The boys had let her sleep there and took the sofa and chairs in the living room for themselves.

"I need to go." She muttered to herself, pulling on her usual gear which was starting to look grimy. "I need to save them." Her blue orbs shone with determination instead of the coldness they usually held. She grabbed her sword and ventured downstairs quietly, seeing the cheshire cat and the white rabbit completely and utterly passed out on top of one another snoring lightly. She tiptoed over to the coffee table and wrote a note.

'I've gone out, I'll be back soon'

She deemed that her note held enough knowledge for her to be able to leave and not worry them too much.

Halfway there, she realised it was the dead of night. The moon was her only guidance and she didn't even know where she was going.

"Where are you guys?" She muttered as she walked, she found that ever since she was a small child, talking to herself would be a habit and she would get called crazy and mad all the time because of it.

She kept walking until the moon was peering over a dark building on the horizon, and something about that made her stop for a second, every muscle in her body screaming at her to stop walking to just sit and have a break. But her heart and gut told her to continue, to continue walking towards the ominous building.

"There. They have to be in there." She spoke, determination laced in her voice, fighting the tiredness.

She marched on, hoping that Hoseok and Jungkook wouldn't try to find her. She hoped that she would stay in the home that provided more safety than being out right now, even if that safety was at a bare minimum.

She opened the large doors, the inside lit by candles distanced evenly around the place to a staircase. She stepped inside and the doors closed behind her. Her hand instinctively reached for her sword at her side and she felt heavy breathing behind her.

"Welcome, daughter of Alice and Hatter." The voice was deep before something hit the back of her knees and she was sent tumbling down the stairs before coming face to face with the dragon.

"Did someone just fall down the stairs?" Taehyung laughed softly, weakly, almost as if he was on the verge of passing out. "Maybe it was the person holding us captive-"

"Shut up Taehyung!" Jimin whisper yelled and that caused her to smile softly.

"That's not nice to laugh at me Tae~" She called out, stretching out as she stood up. She then saw the dragon gearing up to spit fire at her and not in the way rappers would outside of Wonderland. "For crying out loud-" She dived out the way, yelping as her calf got scolded.

"Min-Young! You're here!" Taehyung cried out and in the distance she saw his large hand peeking from behind the bars.

From her knowledge, this thing couldn't be beaten. She put her sword away.

"What is she doing Namjoon?" She heard Jin and she looked in that direction.

"It seems like she's put her sword away-"

"Why would you do that?!" Jimin yelled.

"What the- Min-Young do not touch the dragon-" Namjoon cried out as her hand made contact with it's face and it stared at her for a minute before pressing it's face into her hand more.

"Definitely mine." Jin laughed. "She's mad enough just like me."

"Good girl." Min-Young coo'd gently, hand gently rubbing the snout of the dragon. "Will you protect me whilst I help free my friends?"

She smiled softly and sprinted past the dragon and down to where Taehyung and Jimin's faces were sticking out from between the bars.

"What did you just do?" Jimin's eyes were wide.

"I honestly don't know-"

She got cut off, winded as something hit her back from behind, pushing her into the metal bars.

"Not so fast. You didn't think I'd let you win so easily, did you?" It's voice was deep and started to mimic Jin's.

"Of course not." She laughed. Turning to face the person. There she was met with wide blue eyes almost identical to her own, and a sinister smile. "Brother."
