The trip to visit my brother had ended quicker than I had hoped, but I was glad to be going home to LA. I left for the airport early Saturday morning and arrived at LAX around 11 AM. Upon arriving, I was pleased to see that Morgan and Andrew had waited outside to drive me home. After not seeing Andrew for about a week I ran over to him and pulled him into a hug. When I pulled away I could tell he was blushing. I smiled and chuckled before hugging Morgan as well.
"Wow, Andrew gets a hug before I do? I feel hurt." She playfully frowned and I giggled softly.
"That was the cutest thing I've ever heard." I heard Andrew mutter from behind me.
"Looks like someone missed you," Morgan whispered and snickered. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"I missed the both of you. Now, let's get on the road. I'm hungry." I smile and the both agree as Morgan leads us out into the parking lot to go find her car. About ten minutes later we find her car and get in. I was about to enter the passenger seat next to Morgan but she shook her head. She put my luggage on that seat and insisted I sit in the back with Andrew. I raised my eyebrow at her and she smiled mischievously.
"I see what you're doing Adams," I mutter, I enter the back seat and Andrew smiles at me.
Morgan starts the car and she locates a nearby restaurant on her phone and enters it into her phone's GPS. For the first few minutes, the car ride was a bit quiet, Morgan caught on and decided to put on some music. Andrew cleared his throat lightly and I looked at him.
"So, how was Texas?" he asks softly.
"Oh, it was fun. I got to catch up with my brother, did some sightseeing. But mostly stayed at his house." I responded. He nodded and grinned. "How about you? How was spending a week with these guys alone again like?"
"Painful. I forgot it was this insane without you here." He chuckled.
Morgan looked up in the mirror. "I can still hear you two you know."
"Oh, we know." Andrew smirked.
I giggled and yawned slightly. "You tired?" He asked.
I nodded slightly. "A bit. I woke up really early this morning and the one hour difference with the time zone is starting to get to me."
He wrapped his arm around me and let me lean my head on his shoulder. "Sleep." he murmured. I smiled lightly and looked at him.
"Really? I won't bother you?"
"Not at all. Just get some rest." He lulled. I sighed softly and leaned on his shoulder gently. The quiet song playing didn't help my situation much, my eyes slowly closed shut and before I knew it I was asleep.
Andrew
I smiled as I watched her sleep. I kept my arm around her to make sure she didn't fall and that she felt comfortable. I didn't expect to miss her this much even after just a week. I sighed contently and stroked her hair gently.
"So cute." I muttered.
"What was that?" Morgan asked from the driver seat. I bit my lip gently.
"Uh, nothing."
"Uh-huh." she scoffed gently and continued to drive. I looked at (Y/N) and smiled.
"Hey Morgan, do you think we could just get the food and then take it home? I don't wanna wake her up." I asked quietly.
"Fine with me." She replied. I could see her look at us for a moment. "You really like her don't you?"
I chuckle a little. My mind returning to the texts from a few nights before. "Yeah, I do."
Morgan smiled lightly. "It's been a while since I've seen her this happy. She trusts you a lot too. After what happened with her and...well you know who, she's been struggling. But seeing her adapt to someone so quickly, it makes me think that you guys are really something."
"You think so?"
"I know it. You should ask her out before someone else does."
"I know, I know. I just need to find the right moment." I mutter. She nods and turns into the restaurant drive thru. We went to (Y/N)'s favorite. I stroke her hair again and let Morgan take our orders. We wait in the line for a few minutes and eventually make it out and drive home. We pulled into Shane's driveway and Morgan let me and (Y/N) be alone for a bit before going inside. I wake her gently and she raises her head up and stretches a bit.
"Hey, we're at Shane's place now." I whisper softly.
She nods and smiles at me. "Okay, I hope I didn't bother you too much, by the way."
"I told you, it's fine." I smile and press a light kiss on her forehead. I open the door and get out of the car with her following behind me. Before we enter the house (Y/N) stopped me for a moment.
"Andrew, those texts you sent the other night. Did you mean that?" she asked.
I bit my lip again and sighed, nodding my head gently. "Yes. I meant it when I said that."
"Good. Because I want to ask you something."
"Like what?"
She paused momentarily before taking a deep breath and looking at me. "Will you be my boyfriend?"
I blush lightly and nod before kissing her gently. "Yes. Yes I will."
