In a span of one year, Agust D was slowly making its way to the recognized music scene, special thanks to J-Hope's dance cover of Give It To Me.

Yoongi remembered that day. When he opened his phone, and all he could see were various notifications.

good rap

Who else came here because of J-Hope?

What is an agust d

J-Hope brought me here.

He could remember it all. When he retrieved the money for people buying his music. . . he was so happy.

So happy that he couldn't breathe.

(Seokjin found him hyperventilating in the living room that day, but was too tired from being the last one to clean up in the cafe, again.)

At present, Yoongi decided to release the Red Room song.

agustd: I uploaded a new song on Youtube. it's called RED ROOM. go check it out (link in my bio) if you need a song for a rainy day. thanks!

"Yoongi-ssi. . ."

"-hyung," Yoongi supplied awkwardly, brushing off imaginary dirt from his jeans with his free hand. The other hand was holding his phone. "You can call me Yoongi hyung, Jeongguk."

"Yoongi-hyung? Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, yeah, I wasn't looking to where I was heading." Yoongi waved a hand dismissively. "So, you're going to work, right?"

"Right. I'll be at Seokjin-hyung's cafe."

Jeongguk had recently applied for a job in the cafe. Although it was his first job, and mistakes occured here and there, he was doing his best to improve and it reflected in his actions.

"Ah, okay. Good luck at work."

Jeongguk sometimes wondered if Yoongi had a job. The elder was always locked up in their apartment, somehow. Maybe it was a work-from-home kind of thing.

"Take care, Guk," Yoongi added.

The younger smiled timidly, before turning around and heading down the stairs, to the cafe.

When Yoongi had reached the privacy of their shared, small apartment, he quickly deleted his tweet and hoped that the few followers who saw — and liked it — would forget about it.

But it doesn't work that way.

One of the things Jeongguk began to dislike was the constant flirting of some girls — there weren't much, he could count them with one hand — when he took over the counter. Or served food. Anytime when he was present in their line of vision.

"So, how long you've been working here?"

Today was the same girl from before. Long hair, gorgeous smile, and a decent checkered dress. He was quite uncomfortable with this, honestly. He wasn't exactly keen on being liked just for his looks. Or with all of this attention.

And not to mention, he's gay, but he wouldn't mention that out loud.

"Um, a few weeks," Jeongguk mumbled.

"You seem to be really shy."

". . .yes. . ."

"Do you listen to bands?"

"Miss, you're holding up the line."

"There's no line."

Jeongguk cringed. She was the only person by the counter.

"Oh. By the way, you can get your order at the—"

"Don't worry. I know."

someone save me

"GUKKIE." Hoseok interrupted proudly, sensing his discomfort. It turned the heads of a few customers, but not too much attention.

"Your name is Guggie?"

"Palayaw ko lang iyon," Jeongguk answered in Filipino, with an attempt to shoo her away. It meant "it's only my nickname." Taking foreign language classes had multiple advantages.

The girl looked confused.

"Here's your change!" Satisfied, Jeongguk smiled politely at the last customer, handing her the change. Next in line was none other than his former dance teacher, by the name of Jung Hoseok.

"You know my order."

The younger grinned as he handled the cashier, recalling his hyung's usual order.

"By the way," Hoseok began, "is Jin-hyung there?"

Jeongguk said yes.

"Can you hand this to him?" It was a plain white envelope with a wax seal, and behind it was a drawing of some painting — Jeongguk recognized it as The Gross Clinic. The younger examined it suspiciously, but Hoseok cut him off—"you don't have to be protective. It's from a friend of his."

Jeongguk only saw Seokjin again during his break.

The latter came inside, with groceries at hand, and Jaehwan rushed to help him stack everything. Jeongguk stood up to help, too, even though his help was declined by the two guys.

"It's your break," Seokjin said after they finished, "it's fine if you don't—"

"It's fine either way. You both looked tired. And it's your break too. Now, at least."

"You brat."

Jeongguk mockingly smiled at him.

"Anyway, Hobi-hyung asked me to hand this to you—" he said, and fished for the envelope. "He says it's from a friend of yours."

The way Seokjin's expression changed when he saw the drawing at the back of the letter did not go unnoticed to Jeongguk.

There's something different, and Jeongguk decided that privacy was the best thing to offer right now.

"Okay, um, I'll just head outside for some fresh air."
