hopeworld: i choreographed something new. so it isn't like the usual ones. if you can spot which art piece i'm trying to depict then you're most probably an art expert.

prdsdef: get well soon, taehyung!

GoldenCloset: so, we're playing sad songs more often in the cafe. I suggested pour up by dean but they said no :(

Yoongi was in the cafe as usual, eating cake with a green notebook propped open on the table. He noticed the seemingly tense atmosphere a few minutes ago from Jimin and Seokjin's table, so he moved tables. He had already wrote Taehyung a short 'get-well-soon' poem for Jimin to deliver, despite of the fact everything was still quite mind-boggling to him.

He didn't want to accept it. But it was real, and he couldn't do anything about it.

Yeri walked by, placing his order — coffee, as always — and Yoongi smiled politely as a form of gratitude.

From the table next to him were Jimin and Seokjin, talking in soft voices. Regardless of the calm of the atmosphere, a hint of cold, tough rain was parading the atmosphere, their atmosphere. The primary reason why Yoongi switched seats.

"Here's the game." Seokjin pushed the box towards Jimin, who had agreed to meet up with him in the cafe. It was Seokjin's breaktime. "Just so you know, I never regretted any of it."

"That's good to hear." Jimin opened his bag and pulled out a piece of paper. "That's the Moonchild art he did of you, by the way. I assume you know by now?"

"He showed me. But he never told me the reason."

"That," Jimin pointed a finger. "You keep guessing. I don't know, too."

Seokjin wanted to examine the picture for a longer period of time, but his breaktime was almost ending.

"If you don't mind me asking. . ."

Jimin sipped on his drink, but didn't say anything.

"How is he?"

Jimin placed the drink down.

"He seemed to be in bad shape when I met him. And he told me about the risk of traveling, and all that. He said he had a wound."

"He's. . . well, we're treating him, so he's just resting back in his house. I had someone else to take over the antique shop right now, and then I'd be working as the cashier as soon as I come back, and for the time being until he's better," Jimin replied. "It took Joon-hyung and I a dozen books to figure out a treatment. Those books were actually found in Tae's room."

"Ah."

"Yeah," Jimin said, smiling sadly. "Hey, thanks for keeping him happy."

Seokjin frowned. "Only at the latter part of it. And it wasn't a healthy relationship."

". . . I don't know the whole story. And I'm not pressuring you both to tell me. But whatever it was, I'm glad none of you regretted it. I'm really sorry, again, that I had to cause all of this."

"It's okay. Don't be."

Silence.

"I hope he gets well soon."

And he really did. Seokjin never wished for Taehyung to deteriorate, or whatever would happen to him. He was a complex universe full of wonder, and who knows what else he could give to the world.

"I hope you do, too. I know you're not okay, Jin-hyung. But I won't say anything more." Jimin stood up, gathering his drink and placing the box inside his bag. "I have to go. See you, Jin-hyung." He looked at his former schoolmate. "I have to leave, Yoongi-hyung."

"Sure, take care," Yoongi said, nodding at him.

"It was really nice talking to you," Seokjin said quietly, standing up.

"Same thing," Jimin replied. With a smile, he left the cafe.

When Jimin was gone, the music playing had switched to Uhgood by RM. Seokjin internally sighed, trying to keep his emotions in check. He wanted to curse the music for playing an emotional, worded song instead of its lo-fi ones.

Especially at a time like this.

All I need is me

Seokjin felt a tug on his wrist.

All I need is me

"Are you okay?" Yoongi looked up at him.

I know, I know, I know

I know, I know, I know

"I think I'll be better."
