Tieyan POV
I fly home on Breeze. Where is Sumya? I take a piece of paper and a quill. I dip the quill in the ink and write:
Mother and Father,
Sumya is missing. Do not worry though. I am going to find her. I shall be back. I love you; do not worry about us. We will be fine.
Love,
TieyanI roll up the paper so it looks like a scroll. I put a lid on the ink so it doesn't dry up, jump on Breeze, and start flying.
I hear flapping behind. I turn. Star is following us. "Star!" I shout. "Go home! I'll find Sumya! I promise!"
Star snorts as if to say: "Stupid human. Sumya is my owner. I'm going to help find her."
I sigh. "Alright, Star. You win." Breeze and I keep flying, her silver-tipped wings shining in the afternoon sunlight.
I notice something on Breeze's neck, the sunlight reflecting off of it. I take it in my hand, the silver chain growing warm. Topaz. I glance behind us. Star has a purple chain around her neck with a piece of amethyst strung onto the chain.
Breeze's Stone (Topaz)
Star's Stone (Amethyst)
Hmm... weird. Were those there before? I don't think so.
Suddenly, a spike of ice shot out of Breeze's stone.
What is happening?!
Sumya POV
I wake up, shivering. My purple dress is torn and tattered. I shrug. I never liked dresses anyways.
"Ah! Good! She's up!" I hear an unfamiliar voice.
I back against the wall. "Who-who's there?" My voice shakes. The candle in the room only shows so much light; I can only see the outline of three figures.
