Scars

Chapter 7

The man ran with me in his arms. I kept squirming, trying to escape from the guy. Non of this helped.  His grip gotten tighter on my legs and arm.  I don't want to die..

That also meant meeting Yuzu again though. I bet she wouldn't be excited to see me there..I need this punishment.

I freed my right arm and punched the person with all the force The blow managed to twist his neck a little, allowing me to at least break away from one of his hands. I escaped from both of his hands and leaped away from the guys reach.

"Why you little-"

He grabbed my left arm, pulling my face up to his.

"I'm not letting you go..We're just going to have fun first~"

The man tried to seduce me. Which failed because I can tell he never flirted with women before. Stupid a**hole..

He then tied my hands together with a white cloth.

"Stop! Just leave me be!"

He proceeded to ignore me and my actions. This can't be it. This isn't where my story just ends. I tried pleading him to free me, nothing helped...I'm just going to..

Bang!

My ears were ringing as a shot exploded through the air.  Ear piercing.  My vision getting blurry and the world seemed to spin.  Nearby cars rushed to the area.  All the voices were echoing in my head.

"Is she going to be okay?!"

"Everyone stay back!"

"Call the ambulance!"

"She doesn't look injured though..."

I squinted at every each and one of the blurry figures standing before me. Then I saw a familiar blonde. They walked towards me, kneeling down. 

I can tell it was a female.  The girl placed her hand onto my chest, and moved it upwards on my neck.  I guess she was checking my pulse.  The blonde giggled softly.  What's so funny?

"Hey."  She finally spoke.

"Ah-"  I groaned trying to face her.

"Shhhh.." The girl cupped my mouth with her hand, silencing me.

"No need to worry anymore!  This young lady is going to be fine!  There isn't any major injuries!  You may all go about your day now!"  She yelled.

The blonde returned.  She picked me up bridal-style and whispered something that I wished to hear from the person themselves. 

"It's me.  Yuzu."

I hugged her.  I never wanted to let go again.  Never. 

[ Author P.O.V ]
These are the words that aren't reality for the unfortunate couple.  I'm sorry if I disappointed you, readers,  but the Aihara's continued to live in despair.  Well, just Mei's life though.  As the days went on, she yearned for Yuzu even more. 

[ Yuzu's P.O.V ]

"Imposter."

[ Mei's P.O.V ]

Why is this happening to me...Am I crazy or something?  I keep seeing her everywhere..!  I just need to forget Yuzu.

But I know that I can never bring myself to do that.

I'm cruel...
Useless...
I don't deserve people's love.
I don't want to hurt them.
I don't want to suffer..

I know how to end all of this.   It's the only way.
