Whenever he loves,
he only gives a small piece of his heart
so that whenever it breaks apart,
he could just pretend as though it's nothing.
One piece after another,
he gave his heart until nothing is left to give,
but all the given pieces were worn and torn;
each piece was trashed before they were returned.
Is it because he gave less that he lost everything?
Maybe, people just love breaking things.
If he gave his all, would his heart still be whole, or
he's just prolonging the chapter of the same ending?
