Chapter 9

Serena's POV:

Today is the day I audition for X-Factor. I was really nervous about it.

I tried backing out but Megan was always stopping me.

"Megs, i can't do it" i nervously said for the hundredth time

"You can do it!" She replied while her eyes are on the road.

Megan rented a car for this day and she drove because i don't know how

I sighed and relaxed

A few minutes of drive later, Megan finally had parked

And now, I'am standing infront of the building that could make or crush my dreams

I inhaled and exhaled deeply before entering

"Here's your number miss" a lady said as she handed me a series of number

(A/n i don't know how auditioning for x-factor goes, so please just go with the flow. Haha thanks!)

There was one more person before me.

I feel like I could explode right now.

My phone dinged signalling that I had a message

I took it out and smiled at the name Zayniee :))

From: Zayniee :))

Hey serena, megan told me this was the day of your audition. Just stay calm and always smile . I'am here for you. Goodluck! -zayn x

I blushed at his message and Megan wolf whistled

Megan and Zayn had gotten close after the day we hung out.

They exchanged their phone numbers so that when it's late and i'am not home yet megan will know as she said.

I like how protective she is when it comes to Zayn. It's like she's my mother

I replied to Zayn's text with a Thank you and a smiley face.

I was still kinda bummed out about the fact that he never told anything about the kiss.

I guess it meant nothing to him.

"Serena Brian!" a man called out.

I looked over to him then to Megan. She gave me a thumbs up and pushed me inside the door where it lead to the stage.

While I was walking to the stage, my hands were sweating big time.

I feel like my heart could burst at any time

"Goodluck. Here's your microphone" the man said while handing me my microphone

I nodded and smiled at him

Before walking out, I exhaled deeply and plastered a big smile on my face.

(a/n i really don't know the name of the judges, so i'll be making my own! haha. I only know Uncle Si :D)

"Hello" Simon said

"Hi" i replied shyly

"What's your name sweetie?" Katy asked

"I'am Serena Brian. I'am originally from California" i said gaining confidence

"Oh, so that's why your accent's a bit different" Cheryl said

I just smiled and nodded

"So what are you gonna be singing?" Katy asked while smiling
