Chapter 8

Serena's POV:

I woke up at around 7:30 and got ready for the day.

While I was in the shower, I remembered that Zayn's going to pick me up at 9 am.

After I dried off, I put on my clothes, which Megan bought for me.

I'am wearing a black tights with a summer tee and brown combat boots. I also added a mustard scarf incase it gets extra cold.

I cooked breakfast for Megan since I'am having mine at starbucks

After cooking, I glanced at my watch and it read 8:45. Perfect.

Zayn will be here in 15 minutes. I put my hair in a high ponytail and then I grabbed my phone, keycard, and money.

I sat at the living room and waited for Zayn.

*dingdong* That must be him.

I stood up and glanced at the mirror before walking up the door.

When I opened the door, Zayn was standing there looking hot as ever

"Hey" he said

"Uh, Hey" i replied smiling

"You ready?" He asked

"Yeah, let's go"

We got into the lift and Zayn pressed the G button

We waited for a few seconds before going out.

I saw a lot of teenage girls outside of the hotel entrance screaming "i love you Zayn?"

"Uh, Zayn why are those girls screaming your name?" I asked while pointing at them

He looked at me nervously before speaking "um, i might be kind of famous?" He said more like a question

I knitted my eyebrows in confusion and stared at him

"Okay. So i'am famous and I'am in a band. Were called One Direction" he said

"Oh, i didn't know One Direction" i said shyly

He chuckled "it's alright now come on. We better get out"

He held my hand and i must say that sparks were bursting.

What a weird feeling

Before we could approach the exit, a big guy stood infront of us

I looked at Zayn and he smiled "Paul, this is Serena, Serena, paul" he introduced us to each other

Paul greeted me and I smiled

"Doing good zayn" paul smirked

Zayn blushed and look down

"Now come along kids, we need to get you out" he said changing the tone of his voice

After what felt like years, we were finally in the car

"Does this always happen to you?" I asked Zayn

"Pretty much yeah" he replied

I just nodded and sat back

We got to Starbucks and a waiter led us to the back inside a booth.

"Uh, were supposed to get in line right?" I asked

"We don't need to, they already know our order" Zayn said while smiling

"Okay" i smiled back

Our order came a few minutes after.

When we finished our food, we got out. Thankfully, there were no fans.

Zayn told me he wants to go to the park. So now we are currently sitting at the swings.

"Where did you originally come from?" Zayn asked while looking at the kids playing

"I'am from California, I came here with my bestfriend 3 days ago" i replied

"Oh what brings you here then?" He looked at me

"My bestfriend told me to join the x-factor" i replied

"Really?! You could sing? My friends and I were discovered in X-factor" zayn said happily

"Yeah. That's why I'am here"

"So where are your parents?" He asked

I exhaled deeply and he seemed to notice my action

"You don't have to tell me though" he said kindly

"No. It's alright i guess. My mother died in a car accident, they didn't really found her body, but according to the police, she's dead. And my father, i don't know where he is" i replied almost crying

I choked back the tears and smiled lightly

Zayn looked at me sadly and held my hand "you know i'am here for you" he said smiling sweetly

"Thanks"' i replied

We spent half of the day at the park. We ate lunch at a nearby restaurant, We also ate ice cream, played with the kids and talked about each other's life.

"It's getting late. Maybe I should get you back to the hotel now" he said

"Yeah sure" i smiled

When we reached our hotel door, zayn looked at me and then my lips.

He started leaning in and I couldn't believe that I started doing the same

Our lips met and butterflies erupted in my stomach

We both pulled away and blushed

"Uh, i'd love to hang out with you again sometime" zayn said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Me too" i smiled

"Okay, i'll just text you" he said before hugging me and walking away

I smiled and entered the room.

Maybe this is the start of something new
