Chapter 6

Serena's POV:

I just got inside the hotel and hopefully Megan's not fuming. I'am late for about 15 minutes due to the Zayn incident

I pressed the 14th floor and waited.

When the elevator doors opened, I quickly ran to our hotel room.

But before I could insert the keycard, my phone vibrated.

Thinking that it was Megan, I did not bother reading the text.

"Megs?" I asked as I entered the room.

And out of nowhere, Megan came running to me shouting "What took you so long?!"

Before I could reply, she saw my stained shirt and wondered

"Is that suppose to be our coffee?" She asked while pointing to my shirt

I nodded lightly and bit my lip

She sighed and gave me a signal to tell her what happened.

We went to my room so that I can change first. When I got out of my sticky shirt, I started telling her what happened.

From the part where I bumped to Zayn until the part where he asked for my number.

I closed my eyes because I was afraid of what's her reaction gonna be.

Oh, before I forget, I was scared because Megan doesn't like me having a boyfriend. She says it's too hard too handle.

She also doesn't have a boyfriend so I decided to stick to being single.

A few seconds passed and Megan hasn't made any reaction

I opened my eyes to see her mouth a gape, and her eyes were full of shock and excitement?

Whoah!! Is she like excited for me to get to know Zayn?!

"Hey!!!" I yelled in her face

She shook her head and smiled really big

I looked at her weirdly

She didn't reply, she was looking at me and I somehow found it awkward

The awkward moment was ruined by my phone signalling that I have a text.

I looked at her for a brief second and we have the same expression.

Megan's usually the only person that texts or calls me

I stood up and went over the nighstand were my phone was sitting.

I grabbed it and saw 2 new messages from an unknown number

I opened the first text

Hey Serena! I was hoping we could hang out. :) ya'know to know more about each other and stuffs like that. I was thinking about tomorrow 9 am at Starbucks :)) -zaynX

I was shocked of what I just read! Zayn texted mee!! And he inserted a kiss!!

I never thought that he would exert an effort to text a person like me.

I mean he's hot and cute. Why would he talk to me? I'am just ME.

I read the other text

From: unknown

You know, im not really forcing you to go. Soo maybe you could just text me back so that i know? -zayn :))

I smiled really wide. He just asked me to hangout.

I was so happy and excited that I forgot Megan was still here.

I quickly turned my phone upside down and looked at her

She looks so serious!

"Erm, Megs?" I asked nervously

She just looked at me! What the hell is wrong with her?!

She probably sensed my confusion because she gave a big grin

I knitted my eyebrows in confusion

"Oh my freakin gosh! It's about time you have a boyfriend" she squealed happily

"Wait. What? Your not angry?" I asked

"Silly! Of course not!" She replied

"But." was the only word that came out of my mouth

"I was doing that no boyfriend thing before because you have a work! And I might not stand seeing you a wreck when he dumps you because your 24/7 busy remember?" She said smartly

My mouth formed an O shape. But then again, Boyfriend?! Who says that Zayn will be my boyfriend?!

"Megs, Zayn is not my boyfriend. In fact i just met him a while ago" i said seriously

"I know that. But it all starts out with "Hanging out"" she said cheekily while putting air quotes on the word Hanging out.

I just rolled my eyes and got ready for the day
