Chapter 7

Megan's POV:

Serena and I are currently inside the cab. Were going to the mall!

I looked at my bestfriend and admired her beauty and simplicity

Why woudn't no one like her? I mean she's beautiful and she has a nice body. I don't know why Kristina and her friends call her fat when she's so skinny!

I hope things with her and Zayn goes perfectly.

Because if it doesn't, I'll kick him in his crotch really hard.

Serena doesn't deserve to be hurt again. She's had too much.

Before she could turn around to look at me, I averted my gaze at the window.

Serena's POV:

We were in the cab and I was really admiring the view.

But somehow, I could feel Megan's stare. I turned around and saw that she was also looking out the window.

I shrugged it off and grabbed my phone. I hadn't replied to Zayn yet. Maybe this is the best time.

I saved his number to my phone Zaynn :))

To: Zaynn :))

Hey zayn! i hadn't noticed your text a while ago. sorry! :)) yeah sure! we should hang out tomorrow! :)) -serena :)

I pressed send and smiled

Not too long, Zayn replied.

it's alright. :)) thats cool! i'll pick you up tomorrow then :)) send me your hotel name and your room number

He's gonna pick me upp!! What a gentleman! I giggled and Megan looked at me

I mouthed zayn and she smiled

I sent my hotel name and room number to him.

I kinda somehow felt excited for tomorrow.

It was traffic so I got bored during the ride. And that's when I remembered Jasmine!

"Hey megan, i uh met this girl named Jasmine, she's kind though, could i maybe invite her to the mall?" I asked megan shyly

"Yeah sure. I guess it's a good thing we start knowing people from around here" she replied happily

I nodded and texted Jasmine

To: Jasminee xx

Hey babee! Want to come with me and Megan to the mall?

From: Jasminee xx

Totally! Be there in 15! :)

I hid my phone in my bag and relaxed my eyes

We are currnetly at the foodcourt eating. Jasmine is with us.

Megan had bought me a lot of clothes and shoes! From Forever 21, Topshop, Hollister and many more! She also bought me makeup from Sephora. I was really happy.

But, she didn't have to do that. I practically begged her not to but she doesn't mind me. So, I gave up.

"Okay, so after this, we have one more store then we can go home" she said while munching her tacos

I looked at my phone and it read 5:08 pm

"What?! You think this is not enough?" i asked while pointing at the large amount of paper bags scatterd on the floor.

"Shut up! It's only one thing!" (and you've got that one thing!! hahaha) megan replied

I sigh in defeat and continued eating.

After were done eating, we grabbed all of the shopping bags and stood up. Jasmine took out her phone and her eyes widened.

"Oh my gosh, I forgot" she said while looking at her phone

"Forgot what?" Megan asked

I'm glad they got along fast. "My aunt's visiting for tea and well, i'am late. I better go! Thanks for having me!" She quickly replied and hugged us before zooming out.

"Looks like it's just the two of us then" megan said while smiling

"Oh yes it is" i smiled back

I was surprised that we were heading to a phone store.

Why would we go there? Megan just got her new phone from her parents

I put my thoughts away and followed her instead.

I waited for her in one of the seats.

I was busy fiddling with the hem of my shirt when megan yelled "Serena!" i looked up at her and saw that she was walking towards my direction.

I got up and grabbed the bags

After a long day, we were finally back at the hotel. And i was really glad because I was already tired

Before I could enter my room, Megan called out for me.

I groaned and walked to her room lazily

"What?" i asked dryly

"Here" she said as she handed me a small box wrapped in a gift wrapper.

I looked at her confusedly and she nodded at me

I opened the box and I was shocked to see that she bought me an Iphone 6s

"You did not" i said while narrowing my eyes at her

"Oh but I did" she smiled sheepishly

"Ughhh! Megan!!" I yelled

"What?" She asked innocently

"This is too much" i said seriously

"No it's not" she argued

"I can't take this" i said while handing her the phone back

She just smiled and put her arms on her chest securely

Knowing that I will never win, I just thanked her and went back to my room.

After a few minutes of setting my phone up, I can finally go to sleep

Once my head hit the pillow, I was out.
