Jack Pov~~

Gazing down at a small island from the cloud where I sit, I could see it is unoccupied from any villages. Finding this not too concerning would have been easy, if not for the small boat floating onto shore.

A girl, (colour) hair from what I could see, jumped out of the boat and onto the shore. She spread her arms and ran around the beach, as I listened closer, laughter was heard. It was quite angelic, in my opinion.

The human then flops down onto the sand to bask in the sun as she looked towards the sky. My cloud began floating in the direction beyond my control.

"Stop it ya focking dumb cloud." I wave and shuffle around on the cloud. It continued its way towards the island, tilst we were above the girl, and blocking her sunlight.

From her movement, I could tell she was confused, probably wondering where this sudden shade came from. I backed up away from the edge so that she couldn't see me, but, this traitorous cloud did just one better.

It disappeared.

I could feel the rushing air engulf my body as gravity dragged me back towards earth.
Flipping over so I could see where I was landing, I saw the girl laying flat on the ground, directly beneath me.

I close my eyes as I brace for impact.

(Y/n) Pov~~

The warmth of the sun left me, when I looked up, all I could see was a small cloud. After all my years of doing nothing but staring at the sky, I could tell this was no normal cloud, I swear it was more west from here when I first saw it from my boat.

When I look back up at the cloud, it dissipates and leaves ... a man. He starts falling down before he flips and looks at me. I close my eyes and brace for him to land on me, squashing me.

Two deep thuds tell me to open my eyes. I slowly peek out and see that he had landed with both of his legs against my sides, missing my body and landing in the sand.

"Oh thank god." I sigh in a massive releif, exhaling that large gulp of air I'd been holding.

"It's demigod actually." The man says as he brushes his shoulder.

"D-Demigod!?" I squeak as I hurridly shuffle out from beneath the reasonably built man. I start moving to stand up,  but he just reaches down, grabs my ankle and hoists me up. We were about the same height from what I could tell, him only being a few inches taller than me, so my face didn't drag on the ground.

"I've never been this close to a human before." He hums to himself as he inspects my feet. He starts poking and tickling me, laughter escaping me.

He pauses and flips me around, holding me up by my abdomen, so around my ribs I suppose.

I was still laughing by this point, cause he was now tickling my sides. He brought me closer and rested his head on my collar bone, just beneath my chin so he could feel the vibrations from my vocal cords.

"Pffft haha-aha!" I squeel and squirm. I can see that he is very curious about the noise I'm making, he mustn't interact much, quite like myself as to why I left my village.

"You make weird sounds."

'That's what she said-'

He placed me back on the sand and I regained all the oxygen I had lost, coming down from my laughing high.

"Phew, I'm (Y/n), nice to meet chu." I hold out my hand.

He takes my hand and pulls me in once again, looking at my fingers and inspecting them closely. He intwines his hand with mine, we fit together nicely.

"I'm...." He looks away from our hands and to my face. I notice his beautiful blue eyes, just as bright as the sky he fell from, the small strands of brown hair that seem to not want to stay with the rest of his doo, sticking out in random directions, his thick eyebrows and slightly pointed ears. All of him just, intrigued me.

"I'm Jack, Demigod of the sky." He says in a low voice, as we stare into each others eyes.

I see his lips curl into a smile, one that made my heart melt instantly.

"Well, Jack, Demigod of the sky, what brings you down to this island?" I lower our entwined hands and begin walking him down the beach with me.

"I wouldn't have a clue. My cloud floated over here, then suddenly left." He complained and slightly pouted. I giggled and tugged his arm, making him look at me.

"It's not all bad, is it?" He starts vigorously shaking his head 'no'.

"Of course not, I got to meet you." A shy smile makes its way onto his face as he stares down at our hands; intertwined.

I see his eyes flicker and winden just the slightest as he starts running, with me in tow.

"Jack! What are we doing?" I call to him but he just looks back at me with a big smile on his face. There's no more time left to question it as my feet slowly begin leaving the floor.

I gasp and see Jack turning around to face me, now holding both my hands. He looks up, and up we go, floating higher and higher.

Jack tosses me up into the air, and I can fell the gravity cling onto my body, already trying to drag me down.

"Jack?" I start falling down when I suddenly land on his back. I lean forward and hold onto his shoulders.

"Ready for a ride?" With a nervous smile, I nod my head. He smirks at me, becoming a new level of sexy before we begin plumetting back down and into the forest. I scream in excitement as I hold onto him for dear life, as if he were a human roller coaster and we reached the peak and were soaring down to earth. He turned and made loops and spirals and it had honestly been the most fun I've had in my whole life, and I like to think it was his too.

Believing in demi-gods was natural to me, having grown up knowing all about them. But no one had taught me how they interacted with people, if I had of know it'd be like this, I would have started looking earlier.

Jack and I start descending back towards earth, me breathless and dispirit for air but my lungs wouldn't allow me as coughing shook my body from the laughing and dry throat. Jack noticed and... he uh, kissed me? but he was blowing cool air into my mouth almost like cpr.

I blushed and he smiled. "Better?" He asked, I nodded, agreeing that my throat was better.

"I can blow different types of air... Like oxygen, but carbon dioxide is my default." I nod along, curious about these words. "But I have a favourite type of gas, would you like to try?" I nod and he kis- breaths into - he, shares his breath with me.

I sigh after the kiss, but notice that it is very high pitched. "Ah, Jack, m-my voice, I sound silly, what is this?"

"I call it helium." He tries to say smugly despite his unmanly voice. I can't help but laugh, which sounds like a seagull cross a small child.

"T-This is a-amazing!" I laugh.

"I'm so glad you like it, some of the other gods don't appreciate humour." jacks voice filters back to normal.

"Hey Jack." My seriousness faltering due to my helium afflicted vocals. "I appreciate you."

Jack laughs and ruffles my hair. I can't wait to see where this relationship is going.
