Some people ask what's the worst day of your life.

Mine was the day I lost the most precious thing I ever got. My baby.

I woke up feeling something wet between my legs. I opened the light in my nightstand and looked down. It was blood. It was everywhere.

"Bucky?" I reached beside me, but he wasn't there. I looked around our room quickly. He wasn't here. "Bucky?!" I asked louder and desperately this time. I just hoped the baby was fine.

I started panicking. Bucky never leaves our apartment without telling me. Suddenly, an unbearable pain started in my lower abdomen.

I screamed as the pain started getting stronger. I tried to reach the telephone but the pain was too much.

I heard footsteps coming quickly into the room.

It was Bucky and Steve. Steve took my hand as Bucky called an ambulance. I held Steve's hand tightly while I screamed.

I then passed out from the pain.

"Alison? Are you okay? You seem paler than usual." Steve said while he waved his hand in front of me.

"Yes, I'm okay. Just remembered something." I said shrugging it off.

I looked down at the Prophecy. We were both sitting in the living room, looking at the Prophecy on the table.

"What do we do?" He asked, breaking the silence.

"I think we need some help."

It's been almost an hour that we have tried to open it. It was still unopened.

I tried to open it with my superpowers, but it still didn't work.

"Do you think we should call Thor?" He asked as he reached for his phone.

"He doesn't even know what a phone is, Steve. And even if he did, he's in Asgard." I sighed hopelessly.

"You saw him?"

"Yes," I answered.

Just as I was about to say something, his phone rang.

"Hello?"

Steve looked at me while he listened to the person on the other end.

They talked for a while and then he hung up.

"I'm sorry, Ali, but I have to leave. Something came up." He looked at me with regretful eyes.

"It's okay. You can leave, I'm fine," I said as we stood up and hugged goodbye.

After he left, I went back to the living room and started panicking when I noticed that the Prophecy wasn't there anymore. I looked around the living room but didn't find it.

Sh*t..

"Looking for this?" Someone behind me asked. I quickly summoned a knife in my hand and threw it to the intruder.

It was Loki. He caught the knife easily and put it on the table. I scanned him quickly, he had a black suit. Which I have to admit, he looked quite good in it.

I closed my eyes, chasing those thoughts quickly out of my head. What was I thinking?

"Sorry." I found myself apologizing, which immediately surprised me.

Why was I apologizing to him?

We looked at each other for a few seconds. We both knew it was an unusual thing for me to say.

"Why are you here again?" I asked coldly.

"Thor realized it was an illusion of Odin and now we're here to take my..." he paused for a moment. "Odin back to Asgard." He answered calmly while he handed me the Prophecy. He was lying. I read his mind. Thor didn't even talk to him in Asgard.

I took it and put it back on the table.

"Your father's here on Earth?" I followed his lie.

"Yes. And he's not my father." He scowled.

"But why are you here? I mean, here in my apartment." I corrected myself.

"I noticed you haven't opened it yet." He pointed at the Prophecy, totally ignoring my question.

"It doesn't want to open." I sighed frustrated.

He reached for it and opened it easily.

"How did you do that?" I asked. I was astonished.

"With my hands." He stated as it was the most obvious thing ever.

"Give me that," I snatched it from his hands and opened it.

The Prophecy did open this time.

"I don't understand," I said with furrowed brows.

"Has someone been here?" He asked while he looked around.

"Yes. Why do you ask?"

"Is that person human, by any chance?" Loki asked as he rolled his eyes.

"Yes," I answered, annoyed by his questions.

"The Prophecy doesn't open with a human in its surroundings, you imbecile," He growled and sat on the sofa.

I was taken aback by his insult. "Excuse me for not knowing sh*t about the Prophecy, your majesty," I snapped, "It's not like you gave me any details about it." I sarcastically remarked.

He glared at me and stood up. He poured himself a glass of whiskey and got out of my house.

"Weird," I stated curiously.

I took the Prophecy in my hands and opened it carefully. A gleam of gold light made me close my eyes for a moment.

I turned the first page and looked at the second one. The images moved while it showed a memory. It was Howard and me on our first date.

I rolled my eyes and closed it. I would have preferred a memory with Bucky.

I smiled remembering all those good memories I had with him.

"Bucky, stop!" I shrieked while I laughed.

Bucky was tickling me and I was running away from him.

He laughed when he reached me and took me in his arms.

"You're mine," He smirked at me while he hugged me tightly. I chuckled and hugged him back.

"Of course I'm yours," I looked up and kissed him. I loved him so much.

A small tear made its way down my cheek and I wiped it quickly. I sighed and looked up at the ceiling while I rested my head in the cushion of the sofa and I prayed. I'm not the kind of people who believed in God and goes to church every Sunday. But now that I know that my father is Zeus, I might as well pray to him.

I begged him to make sure Bucky was okay and that we could meet again soon.

Deep down I knew he heard my prayers. Well, at least I hoped.

What could I have done to make him cast me out of Olympus? Maybe he's still mad at me and decided to ignore my prayers.

I took my laptop and searched for Até on Google. Nothing came up except me being the daughter of Zeus and the Goddess of Mischief. Not much else.
