Chapter 14

Y/N's POV

"What is it?" You asked. "You can tell me anything, you know."

Namjoon looked neverous, you could see him fiddling with his fingers. "Hm?"

"Yeah, uh... I..." he stopped. "I got an A on my science test! Yeah-"

"That's great!" You squealed. "I got an B. For my grades, it's good." You said.

Namjoon laughed and held up a thumbs up. But something seemed off.

"Wait, your lying, aren't you?" You said. "You are hiding something."

"Noooooo-" Namjoon started.

"TELL ME!" You insisted.

You heard footsteps behind you. "Huh?"

"Yoongi!" Namjoon growled.

Yoongi snickered. "I can tell what he wanted to say." He said.

"What, then?" You crossed your arms.

Yoongi bent over and whispered something in your ear.

You squeaked. "YES! ITS PERFECTTT! You guys should go to the formal!!"

"Formal?" Namjoon asked.

"The Fall Formal! Kinda like a dance, but more of a hangout." You explained.

"I'm not sure..." Namjoon said.

"Do!" Yoongi yelled, a bit loud.

"Hyung." Namjoon said with an irritated voice.

"I'm your Hyung, I know best. I know what's good for you." Yoongi said in a sweet voice, yet putting up his finger sassy.

The way he looked and Namjoon was pure and patient, although he looks very out of it and short tempered, you can see the love and respect he shows for the others. It made your heart soft.

"Fine," Namjoon reluctantly said. You squealed at the thought of your best friend having a boyfriend again. A boyfriend that isn't like the last one she had. He didn't treat her the way she should've been treated.

But You have a feeling that Namjoon will be the perfect boyfriend. Well, if she agrees, of course.

"On one condition," he says with a stern voice. Yoongi looks at you when she says this, you look at him back, nervous and excited to what his condition is.

"I want you to help me," You let out a breath of relief, but too soon. Namjoon continues.

He smirks as he says his final request.

"I want you two to go together, you don't have to tell anyone. But the day of the formal, I want you to be together. Always next to me, like my wing peeps."

Your legs go weak at the sound of that. Why? People were going to think you are together! But for some reason, you didn't seem that disturbed by the fact that you were going to spend the entire formal with Yoongi.

He is your friend and you guys were doing it for your other friend, it's like taking a friend there.

Yoongi goes over to Namjoon and says,

"Hyung always here to help," Yoongi says while holding onto Namjoon's shoulder, "Right, Y/N? Won't it be nice to have our best friends be the together?" He said letting a little bit of his gummy smile slip.

You nodded.

"Operation Fall Formal is a go." You said as you grabbed both of their hands and dragged them into class.
