You shoved your books in your backpack and ran out the door, just getting to the bus in time. You couldn't be late to your first day of your Senior year of High School.
You walk in and sit in a seat next to your friend, Andria. You've been friends since kindergarten, and you almost always sit next to each other.
"So, whose your teacher?" Andria asks when you sit down. You pull a paper from out of your backpack and say "I've got... Mr. Thomas." (In this school, you only have one teacher so it isn't so complicated lol)
"Mr. Rickert. Daeng!" she said. You sighed, disappointed that Andria isn't in your class.
"It's fine, Y/N, we'll most likely be together next year!" She said, patting you on the shoulder.
You grunted, and pulled out your phone.
Soon, your bus stops at the school. "See you later, Andria!" You call. She replies with a wave as she walks toward the other side of the building. As you walk down the hallways to try to find your locker, you can hear girls all around you gossiping. *How was there already gossip! The first bell hasn't even rung!*
*Have you met the new kids? The new kids are so cute! One of them seems shy... And exhausted!* You could hear everyone saying. *What's so great about these new kids?* You shrugged as you organized your locker and grabbed the books you needed. Then, you walked to your class. It was only a few doors down from your locker.
You slowly opened the door. Mr. Thomas was in the class, with a few students.
"Good morning. You are Y/N, right?" He asked, and you nodded, "Sit over there." He said, pointing to an empty seat next to the window. You sit down and place your stuff under your chair. Then, you look at the kid sitting next to you. He has extremely dark brown hair, but he's looking out the window so you can't see his face. *I wonder If this is one of the new kids.*
Suddenly, he turned to face you, and he slowly examined you. He was Asian, he looked Korean, but what would you know, he had soft skin and small, but cute eyes. They were as dark as night and they were staring into your soul, you couldn't help but stare back.
But he looked like he hadn't slept in days! After locking eyes for a couple of seconds, he turned away and leaned his head up against his desk, looking like he would fall asleep if no one stopped him. You quickly turned your head away and started reading a book.
This will be fun, sitting next to a cute Korean boy who probably doesn't even know English.
