Goodbye

Chapter 34

You grabbed your suitcase and carried them down the stairs. You looked outside the window, watching your dad load all your suitcases in the car. You didn't bring much, just all the valuables. You sat yourself down on the couch and looked at everything around your small house. This was the last time you were going to be here for a while. You could feel the tears threatening to fall down but you held them back. You had to be strong. You couldn't believe you were leaving this place. You had grown up here your entire life, you knew no other place as home. Everyone you loved and cared about would be so far away from you, you just couldn't get your mind to get to that point. You stared blankly out into space, deep in thought. It hurt you that you'd be gone, but this would be a new chapter in your life, a chapter that would be filled with adventure if you had anything to do about it, which you did.

"Y/N dear, you're leaving now." your mom says and you run over to give her a giant hug. Your mom wasn't coming to the airport with you because an urgent matter at her job required her to be here. Of course you were a little bit disappointed, but you understood. When you pulled away she was in tears.

"Make sure you stay sweet like you've always been. Call me regularly and remember that I love you my sweet daughter." She says through sobs and then a single tear falls from your eye.

"I will mom. I love you too." you reassure as you see your dad at the doorway, beckoning for you to get in the car. You carry the one suitcase that you hadn't put in the trunk and loaded it in. You shut the trunk and hopped into the passenger seat of the car next to your dad. You look at the small house one more time and your dad pulls out of the driveway.

Goodbye House.

"All passengers on flight A768 to ------, should please start checking in. Boarding will be starting in 2 hours." You look back at your dad who was holding the cart with your luggage. You give him a smile before saying,

"I'll go check this in now. Bye, dad." he nods and gives you a hug. Oh, how you were going to miss his hugs. You took the cart and started rolling it to the check in line. You stopped right in your tracks when you heard someone shout your name.

"Y/N!" Yoongi shouted as he tried getting through the mob of people just to get to you. He finally got through them and you ran into his arms. Leaving the cart behind. He held you, you wished you could stay like that forever. But reality hit soon enough. Yoongi placed a kiss on your forehead and got down on one knee. You took a step back from him and gasped. He chuckled,

"Don't worry, Y/N. I'm not proposing to you. Yet." He pulled out a small box with a ring inside it.

"It's a promise ring. So whenever you look at it, you remember that you belong to me and to me only." He carefully slips the ring on your finger and holds his hand out, on it was a ring almost identical to yours. You couldn't hold back all the tears you've been wanting to shed and you cried into his shoulder. He pulled you closer to his chest and rubbed your back. He hugged you for a while. You didn't want to be away from his touch.

"Call me as soon as you land. We'll visit each other often. Remember, if anything ever happens, call me and I'll get the first flight there. I'll even walk if I have no other choice." You sniffled and pulled away from him. He pulled you straight back and you soon felt the feeling of his lips on yours. You could taste the saltiness from your tears as you kissed. You pulled away from him. You gasped when you saw tears fall from Yoongi's cheeks. You had only seen him cry once, and that just made your heart ache even more.

"It's time for you to go, baby." He says and he pushes you towards the cart, "don't miss your flight." He gives me one more peck on the lips before he says,

"I love you so much." You smile as you say back.

"I love you too, Yoongz." You push the cart into the gate and wave bye to him and your father. You spare him one last glance and soon he becomes out of your sight.
