Chapter five

"Who, or what was that?''

"Huh'' said a young teenage girl "Halt! Who goes there!? Show yourself!" she shouted, grabbing a large stick off of the ground.

I stumbled through the bushes "Ahh!'' I said as I fell on the ground. My Pokémon walked up from behind me and then walked over me.

"Whaaaa..." said the girl.

I stood up and brushed myself off then said "Hi! the names Evie! Nice to meet ya..."

"Izzy," she said, dropping the stick"Izzy Rose M."

"Nice to meet ya, Izzy" I replied, smiling "These are my Pokémon.'' I said pointing to my Chikorita and Eevee.

"Aww!" Izzy replied "There're so cute! But, don't Pokémon usually travel inside of Pokeballs?"

"They do," I started "But, my Pokémon can't stand being inside of them.''

"That's cool.'' Izzy said "My Pokémon don't stay in them either." 

''How long have you been traveling?'' I asked her.

"I haven't started. My mom wont let me, you?''

"Just started yesterday! But, if you haven't started, why are you all the way out here?''

"My Espeon, Gem, used teleport to bring me here.''

''Oh, cool. How old are you?''

"13, you?''

"Same."

"Awesome!''

''You have any other Pokémon?"

"Yep!'' She let out a little Pikachu and a shiny Sylveon. "Meet Lighting and Azure!''

''Hi!"

"Evie...''

"Yeah?"

"What are you parents like?"

" Umm..'' I started to say ''to be honest, Im not completely sure, see, my dad left when I was like, a year old.''

"Oh," she said "well, whats your mom like?"

"Wow, um, she was a really, really sweet, kind person. I mean everybody loved her!''

"What do you mean "was"?"

"Oh, uh, she... she died last year.. so, yeah, um, What's your family like?''

"Well, my mom is pretty nice, she's not really big on battling and my dad loves to train and battle with his Pokémon when he's not working or spending time with us."

"Ya got any siblings?''

''Yep! I have 2 little sisters, Kat and Sia. There're both pretty annoying. You?''

"Yes?''

''Do you have any brothers or sisters?''

"Um, yeah, 10. 7 brothers and 3 sisters.''

"Wow... that's a lot of kids.''

"And adults, 3 of my brothers are married and live in the same house with there wives.''

''Oh my... wow that's a lot of people.''

''Yep,'' I said, grabbing out my phone ''No! Its 5:00! I got here at 3:00!''

"Huh?'' 

''I have to go! Like now! I have to get to get to River Town in Shinnoh today!''

''Why?''
