Chapter 13

Verity and I ran to the stage. I had already decided to use my Vulpix and my Chikorita. I had no idea what Verity was going to use.

"Chikorita! Go!" I called.

"Chikorita!" She ran up to the stage.

"Let's go! Piplup!" She tossed it's Pokeball.

"Piplup piplup!"

"Chikorita, razor leaf!"

"Chior!" It hit.

"Pipup, use water gun!"

"Piplup!"

Chikorita dodged it and countered it with a powerful razor leaf.

"Piplup!!!" It cried as it was hit.

''Piplup, use bubble beam."

Piplup unlashed a super powered bubble beam which hit and knocked out my Chikorita, but the amount of energy the attack took also caused Piplup to faint as well.

Verity and I called our Pokemon back to there Pokeballs. I immediately let Chikorita back out because she hates the Pokeball.

I release my Vulpix and Verity released her Laparas.

"Laparas ice beam!"

It hit my Vulpix and froze her in a block of ice. Then the Laparas hit the ice block then used Hydro pump on her face.

"Vulpix!!" Vulpix screeched.

"Vulpix Flame Burst!" 

"Pix! Vulpix!"

It hit but did little damage. Laparas countered with a huge water gun that knocked my Vulpix out.

Vivian, the announcer called "Both of Evie's Pokemon are unable to battle, therefore, making Verity the winner!" She gave Verity a special pin. 

"Good job, Evie." Verity said.

"Thanks! You too!" I replied.

We left the arena and found Parker and Izzy.

"Who won?" Izzy asked.

"It was me!" Verity announced proudly.

"Awesome!" Izzy said.

"We can go back to Eeveeolution now!" Parker said happily.

"Yep!" Said Izzy.

"Verity," I said.

"Yeah?"

"Should we go find Sorrel?"

"Yep, I'll go find him."

As soon as Verity came back with Sorrel we all started walking back to Eeveeolution.
