Chapter 10 (Thundar's Backstory)

A/N: this chapter is dedicated to my brother Thundar2007 (on scratch) Check him out! He wanted this so I decided to write it for him. This chapter has a lot of fighting as well as an entire island being destroyed, if you don't like it, don't read it.The character in the top picture is Cross from Pokémon the Movie I choose you. My brother's Oc's name is Thundar Cain. If you read it I hope you like it!

Thundar's Backstory--------------

Thundar (6) and Cross (8) had just gotten there starter Pokémon in Alola. Cross chose a Litten. Thundar chose the same. 

The boys lived on a Very, VERY little known island called Charmeleon. The island's Guardian Pokémon was called Tapu Charizard.  

Kids on Charmeleon can start there journey at 6- 8 years old instead of 10. Most of the Pokémon there were Fire and Dark Types, and so, both boys wanted to catch and train as many of them as they could.  

Thundar already had a Psyduck and a Bulbasaur from his dad. His mom gave him a Pikachu. Cross was eager to catch some Pokémon.

After traveling silently for over an hour in the forest, Cross heard a 

''Char!''

"Wha.. Did you hear that!?'' Cross asked Thundar.

''Hear what?" Thundar asked Cross.

''CHAR!" there it was again.

''There! Over there!" Cross shouted, running off. Thundar followed him.

''Charmander, Char!'' shouted a little orange Pokémon who was sitting all by himself. Cross walked over to him.

''Hi, little guy!" Cross said.

''Charmander!'' Charmander leapt up and hugged him.

''Want me to catch you?''

''Char!" it nodded.

Cross took a Pokeball and caught it then let it out.

''Char!''

The boys and Charmander heard a bomb explode. 

-----------------------------meanwhile----

A little girl with  tears streaming down her face ran out of a large building that was in flames. An Apom followed behind her. Her parents were still inside. Her house was the first thing hit by the Flame swirl. 

A war had starter between Ula' Ula' and Charmeleon islands. Well, not really, see, Ula' Ula' started attacking Chameleon for no real reason with bombs, Fire- Type Pokémon, and Tapu Bulu was with them. and Charmeleon  had no real defense.

The little girl, Parker, and her Apom ran into the forest. Parker was sobbing now. After running and crying for a few minutes, Parker got tired, so, she and Apom took a very small brake.

The boys heard soft sobs a little deeper in. Even though they were scared, they followed the noise and found Parker.

''Who.. Who's there?'' Parker sniffed.

''Just us! No bad guys here!" Cross said.

Parker picked up a rock and threw it at him. 

''Ow!"

"Ha ha looser," Thundar started "Hi, I'm Thundar and this dork over here is Cross.''

''WHY!?" Cross cried.

Parker stopped crying  and started laughing loudly until loud crackling was heard.

The kids turned around to see the forest behind them in flames. Smoke was everywhere and the fire was spreading. 

Thundar and Cross started running as fast as they could but Parker wasn't moving.

"Hey, you! Come on!" Thunadr shouted.

Parker shook her head and hugged Apom tightly.

"Come on! Lets Go!" Thundar shouted.

"Why should I?" Parker asked him. "I don't have any place to live or a family or friends to go back to, so why do you think I want to come!?"

''You have us,'' Thundar said, reaching his hand out to her.

Parker reached her hand ad grabbed Thundar's. Just as she was about to stand up, the ground beneath her sunk in.

Parker shirked, but Thundar held her hand tightly. He was just barely able to pull her up.

The kids stood up and brushed off, then, they ran for there lives.

Before long all 3 kids ran out of that forest with there Pokémon at there side. They then turned around and watched the forest burn to the ground.

More bombs were exploding everywhere and not another living person in sight. The kids were terrified but had no way off the island. 

"Ruff... r..u..ff.''

"Huh," Cross gasped, running towards that sound.

''Cross, wait!'' Thundar cried.

Cross didn't listen but he found an injured, male Rockruff. He took care of it and it recovered very quickly thanks to his help. It started to lick Cross' hand. 

"Hey! Cut it out! Wanna come with me, boy?''

"Ruff! Ruff! Rockruff!" it barked happily, wagging it's tail, so, Cross caught it.

Just then a massive flame swirl came out of nowhere. Cross was barely able to dodge it. He stood up and ran as fast as he could to find the others.

''CROSS!" Thundar and Parker cried.

''I'm Over HERE!!!'' Cross called. 

Cross ran to Thundar and Parker. After getting to them he asked

''Whats your name?''

''Parker.'' 

''Cool!"

But they still had no way off of the burning island. 

Just then, out of nowhere, none other then the guardian of Charmeleon island himself, Tapu Charizard flew down and picked up all three kids and there Pokémon. 

"Woah!" Cross shouted.

''Ahhhhhh!'' Parker shrieked.

''My Watermelon!" Thundar cried.

''Your what...?''

''My lips are sealed, I cant tell you, I said Watermelon.'' Thundar said.

Tapu Charizard dropped the kids off at Mele Mele island and went back to save anyone he could, but as far as the kids knew they, and there Pokémon were the only survivors of that attack. And they were all alone.

Parker later became friends with a Girl named Evie but continued to travel with the boys until they left for Kanto. She then later lived with and traveled with Evie and her family.

The boys traveled together for a while until Cross abandoned his Charmander which Thundar took care of and trained after that. Then the boys went separate ways and vowed to never speak to each other again.
