My Pokémon Journey

Chapter 8

A/N: Warning! this chapter is about a Pokémon Battle tournament. so, unlike the other chapters that have a little battling, this one has a lot. If you don't like the battles then skip this chapter. I'm not sure how many chapters this will go on being as this is only the first round. 

"And now that you all know the rules, lets...'' Vivian, the announcer said.

I burst through the doors with my Pokémon.

''I'm here...'' I panted ''what are the rules again?''

Vivian sighed ''The rules for this match are as follows, each trainer will get to use 2 Pokémon. They can switch them out if they want but once a Pokémon is KO'd it can no longer be called in. Once either trainer's 2 Pokémon faint, the battle will be over. The trainer who still has 1 or both of there Pokémon left will advance to the next round. Please note that if you win a round you are not required to use the same 2 Pokémon if you don't want to. Now that you ALL know the rules, let's BATTLE!"

"Alright! Go Chikorita!'' I shouted.

''Chikor!'' She replied as she ran up to the battle area.

''No Pokeball, REALY!?" Rose shouted ''Meh, Roxie! I choose you!"

She threw a Pokeball and out of it jumped a Pichu.

''Lets do this! Chikorita use Leaf Cutter!''

''Chikor!''

''Roxie Dodge it! Use Lightning Bolt!'' 

"Pichu!'' It wasn't quick enough to dodge it.

''No! Roxie you OK!?" Rose cried.

''PICHU!" Roxie replied as she stood up, then she fainted.

''GAH! Roxie, return. Go CUPCAKE!'' Rose called tossing a Pokeball in the air.

Out of it jumped a female EEVEE!

''An Eevee, huh? Well mine helped me to catch my Chikorita, so Chikorita, come on over here. We're gonna let Eevee handle this one.''

''Chikor!'' Chikorita called as she ran back.

''EEVEE!'' Eevee shouted, hopping up to the battle.  

''Cupcake, Scratch!''

''Eevree dodge it!''

''Vee!'' Eevee cried lunging out of the way.

''Yes! Now use Tackle!''

''Eevee!'' 

''VEE!'' it hit Cupcake hard, but she managed to stay up.

"Grr Cupcake use Bite!"

"Eevee!" 

"Eevee dodge it and use Tackle."

''Vee'' Cupcake bit down on Eevee's neck, "Vee!" she squealed.

''Eevee, roll over.''

''What?" Rose shouted.

Eevee rolled as hard as she could, flipping Cupcake over and hitting her on the ground.

''Ee.. vee!!!'' Cupcake cried.

''No! Cupcake! Get up!'' Rose cried.

''V...ee..'' Cupcake was barely  able to stand up.

''Alright Eevee! Lets finish this! Quick Attack now!''

''Eevee!!!!!!!!!!!!!'' Cupcake was hit and fainted.

''Nooooooooo!" Rose cried.'' Cupcake return.''

''Both of Rose's Pokémon are unable to battle! Evie will advance to the next round.'' Vivian said.

''Ug,'' Rose grumbled.

I walked over to her.

''Good battle today, Rose!"

"Eh, sure... I guess.'' and she walked away.
