"Well Eevee,'' I started "the quickest way I know to Sinnoh is by air, and there's a short cut to an airport through this forest. '' I pointed over at a decent sized forest.

''Vee!' Eevee squealed nervously.

"Don't worry Eevee!'' I told her ''I know a nice (somewhat) safe way through here. We should be able  to get in and out in no time! And if you're a little scared of the dark, then just think about all the cool Pokémon we can find here! What do ya say, girlfriend?"

Eevee thought for a minute then said "Eevee! Vee! Vee!"

"All right! Let's go!'' and we ran into the forest.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We had started on this so-called "short cut" that Verity had told me about (more then likely just to get me lost) and we had no idea were we were.

"It's this way!"  I said, 10 seconds later "No, no. It's this way. No, it's, Gah!! I have no clue were we are! Sorry Eevee.''

"VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Eevee cried "ve..ve...eevee.."

Just then we heard rustling in some bushes near by.

"What was that?"

Eevee stoped crying and jumped up ready to battle.

Out of the bushes stumbled a small, green, female Pokémon. It looked like a grass type to me. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my pokedex, opened it up and scanned that Pokémon.

Chikorita, the Leaf Pokémon. A Grass Type. Chikorita brandishes the leaf  on it's head during battles to fend off its foes. When it dose this, the leaf gives off a lovely aroma that calms and soothes everyone around it.

''Aww! It's so cute! I just gotta have it! Eevee, use tackle!''

Eevee used tackle and Chkorita countered with Razor leaf.

''Eevee, Quick Attack now!''

It hit and Chikorita fainted.

I tossed a Pokeball at it. 1, 2, 3, it stayed in!

''Yes! I just got a Chikorita!''

''Eevee! Vee!''

I let Chikorita out and said ''Hi! I'm Evie! I'm your new trainer!''

''Chiko?'' it cocked its head to the side.

"Do ya like the Pokeball?" I asked, holding it up.

"Chik o re!" it said, shaking its head back and forth.

"Okay!" I said "you can stay out if you want!"

''Chik o re!'' it said happily.

And we continued on our journey together.

About 3+ hours later

Status: still lost.

"Gah!'' I shouted after passing the same big tree 7 times "Where are we?"

Eevee and Chikorita looked tired and it was getting late.

"Lets crash here for the night" I said, looking down at the little pair of Pokémon "What do ya say?''

"Vee!"

"Chiko!"

"All right.'' I laid out my yoga mat (I had forgotten to pack my sleeping bag) and my blanket. I took my backpack off and called my Pokémon over.

As the night went on, Chikorita got cold. Eevee snuggled up to her, but soon got cold as well. I saw they were getting cold and gave them my blanket, it was too small for all of us, but just the right size for 1 small teenage girl or two, small Pokémon. So, I gave it to them. They looked up at me thankfully and then fell asleep.

"Rest up little guys!" I said "You're gonna need that energy for tomorrow." and I fell asleep.

The Next Day

After we woke up, I called Harley and Sabrina then my Pokémon and I ate breakfast.

"Come on guys! lets go! We gotta get to that airport today!!!'' I said urgently.

''Vee?''

"Chik?''

"Sorry guys, it's just that im in a bit of a hurry because I have to get to Shinno today.''

My Pokémon and I quickly got ready and started out.

After walking for about an hour we came to the entrance of a small clearing. We were about to enter it when we heard a young girl's voice shout

"Can you take me home please!?"

"Huh," I whispered "Who, what was that?"
