Chapter 4
Spencer was at the party, Raven spotted her as soon as she walked in the door. It was hard to miss her blue jeans, white band tee, black beanie and leather jacket...at least, for Raven it was hard to miss those things.
Most of the girls were dressed up in similar attire to Raven, short skirts, plunging necklines, showing more skin than usual on the pretence that they were dressed up for Halloween. Usually the brown haired girl didn't partake in that sort of thing, but when she saw Spencer's eyes widen as she walked through the door she was suddenly glad she had.
"Damn Raven." Matthew grinned at her a short while later. "You look hot."
Raven shoved him jokingly. "Thanks. Not hot enough for you though?"
"I'm a hard guy to please, plus you're missing a few important assets." Teased the blonde haired boy. "And by that I mean you don't have a dick."
"I know what you mean asshole." Raven rolled her eyes. "Hey Sadie." She greeted the approaching blonde.
"Raven!" Sadie smiled. "Nice costume."
"You too." Raven shot back, admiring the other girls Harley Quinn outfit. She felt her cheeks heat up as she caught sight of Spencer standing by the kitchen door, eyeing her silently. When the blonde haired girl noticed that Raven had caught her staring she looked away and disappeared into the kitchen.
But Raven, fuelled by all the compliments (and maybe the alcohol), was feeling bold.
"I'm just gonna go and get another drink." She excused herself before following after the blonde.
The click-clack of Raven's high heels alerted Spencer to her presence, but she remained silent as she had done around the brunette since the face-touching incident on Monday.
Raven, undeterred by the other girl's quietness, continued to fix herself a drink.
"Have you lost your voice or something?" She quipped, sipping her vodka and coke.
"Have you left your clothes at home or something?" Spencer shot back.
Raven raised her eyebrows. "I didn't think you minded."
"I never said I did." The blonde replied smoothly making Raven's heart skip. Was Spencer flirting with her?
"So you don't mind then?"
Spencer shrugged. "It's not a bad view. I mean, I've seen better but..."
Raven's mouth opened in outrage at the smirk on the other girls face. "Asshole." She said, rolling her eyes as she made to leave the room.
"Hey, Raven." Spencer called her back, the teasing smirk absent from her chiseled face. "Put your jacket back on."
"What? Why?!" The brunette asked in confusion, but before Spencer could reply Jacob walked into the room.
