👑Chapter 2👑

Josh stood in the corner of the room, watching as the king and his family ate their dinner. He was so sick of watching them eat. The Urie's even had their dogs sit at the table with them and eat their doggie chow. It was complete nonsense. Josh couldn't do anything about it though, so he just continued to stand guard, picking at a spot that was chipping on his uniform.

"Hey Josh!" The king yelled out to him. Josh quickly snapped his head up, squared his shoulders, and stood like a wall like he should've been doing.

"Yes, your majesty?" He asked

"Go get Ryan to clean up the table and then join me in the Solar room." Brendon told.

Josh walked to the kitchen and informed Ryan of the Kings orders then headed over to the solar room. It was there he took his hideous hat he was required to wear and tucked it under his arm and sat down on a couch. King Brendon was sat on the other couch trying to roll a blunt.

"Josh"

"Bren"

The king looked up from what he was doing and smiled a little at the childhood nickname. Josh was the kings longest friend, it just so happened he also got chosen to be his guard when he was enrolled to be part of the royal infantry.

"You'd do anything I asked of you right?" The king questioned with one eyebrow raised.

"Your wish is my command majesty" Josh replied while standing up and giving an obnoxious bow with a smirk on his lips.

"Oh pipe it down ass wipe, I just need a favor is all" Brendon said.

"What is it? Please tell me it's not ordering another 5 grams of pot because I swear Brendon that stuff will kill you." Josh scolded him.

Brendon just gave a shrug before continuing, "So I know you are aware of the rising tensions between Luxaria and our kingdom. Well I had this idea come to me when I was taking a bath and—stop looking at me like that dude."

Josh wiped the amused look off his face before gesturing for Brendon to continue.

"I have a mission for you. You can't let anyone know about it and you have to be discreet. It requires leaving the castle for a few months, and you must be able to handle getting your hands dirty." He finished explaining.

Josh just sat there, bewildered at what the King wanted him to do. He couldn't think of anything that would make him have to be so careful.

"What is it you want me to do?" He asked.

"I need you to sneak into Luxaria." The royal dramatically paused, taking a hit from his blunt.

"—and I need you to kill Prince Tyler Robert Joseph."

It was 10 days later and Josh was in the middle of the forest on the outskirts of Luxaria. He caught sight of the prince far off in the distance and felt his heart skip a beat. He didn't realize the prince was so beautiful. His thin yet muscular stature mixed with the mound of fluffy brown hair on his head, and that smile with his cute and crooked bottom teeth; if Josh thought he wasn't charmed by it he'd be lying.

In the midst of gazing at the royalty, his eyes widened when it registered that the Prince looked at him and started walking his way.

Shit. Shit. Shit

Joshua instantly booked it, sprinting through the field as fast as he could. It wasn't till he thought he was safe that he hid behind a tree, looking out to see if the prince had kept his pace towards the guard.

"Who are you? I don't think I've seen you around here before?" He heard the princes voice.

Quickly snapping around, he locked eyes with the prince, who was way more pretty up close than from far away. Especially with that look on his face of sincerity yet confusion.

"Oh, um, I'm josh." He replied.

"Nice to meet you Josh, I'm Tyler." the royalty replied with a smile, sticking out his hand for Josh to take.

"Nice to meet you Tyler." The blue haired boy finally responded, shaking his hand and smiling.

"So what exactly are you doing out here?" Tyler asked?

"I live out here"

"How can you live out here?! It's so lonely and I'm sure the walk into the middle of the village gets exhausting."

Josh shrugged, not aware of where Tyler was going with this.

"Come with me." was all the young Prince said before turning around and walking off.

"Why?" Josh asked.

Tyler simply turned around and continued to walk backwards. He let a small smile tug at his lips as he said,

"You're coming with me to the castle."
