We flew out back to Miami to film the music video to the Hey DJ remix. Thousands and thousands of girls stood outside and some had managed to sneak in the airport. I wasn't really feeling up to it today, but I took pictures and signed things for them. I saw a lot of posters of me and Juliette, which made me smile but at the same time only broke me more. Everywhere I turned there were pictures of us, and J+R written in shirts, posters, phone cases, everything you could imagine. I brushed past the fans as quickly and politely as possible, to avoid questions about her. I knew with how I've been feeling lately that I was going to break down if they asked about her. I don't want them knowing the truth yet. If this break up hurts for me, I couldn't imagine what it would do to them. They all had big smiles on their faces and the amount of fans that used to hate me drastically dropped over the past couple of months. I couldn't let them down.
Security began to escort us out to the car because more girls started to come in, and the number of them almost quadrupled as we signed things. I felt a grip on my arm as I began to walk away, and I turned to see. A sweet looking girl had pulled my arm and held up a teddy bear for me to take. The fans had began to push at all angles so more guards came out and stood between us, I tried telling them to take it but they couldn't hear me well because of all the screams and commotion going around us. She seemed disappointed as I looked back at her and gave her a sad look. I hate it when I don't get to personally receive and thank the fans for their gifts.
The next best thing I could do was motion her over with my hand and she tried her best to move past everybody in the crowd who like her were trying to follow us. I lost sight of her as we stepped out and TMZ reporters and other paparazzi were recording and taking pictures of us. There were fans all around the block, and I could see more a couple blocks down too. I waved and smiled as I scanned the room for the girl. We hopped in the car with Rafael and he greeted us as we stepped in. Just as we were placing on our seat belts I spotted her. Her hat was missing and her shirt looked like it was pulled, and her hair was all crazy. I lowered the window.
"Yo, bring her!" The guard in front of us turned to me, and then nodded I pointed to the girl. I told the boys to scoot over and they did, but looked confused. The guard got her in really quickly so no one else could enter. She smiled really big and attacked me with a hug, which made me laugh. Then she looked at the boys and covered her mouth in disbelief.
"Como te llamas, princesa?" Erick asked, and it want until then that I noticed she was actually an Erick fan. She wore a shirt with his face on it.
"Liliana," she answered with the he same expression still on her face. Me and the boys laughed because of it. We were kinda used to it, but it still seemed funny to us the expression on their faces as we talked to them. She didn't blink once, her eyes were wide opened and she didn't know what to do or say.
"Relax, baby. Everything's fine." I told her, smiling. "Im sorry I couldn't stop earlier, there was a lot going on."
"I-I just wanted to give you this." She handed me the teddy bear. It was medium sized, soft and light brown and had J+R sewn into it in dark red letters. When I inched closer my nose picked up the familiar scent of it, and I remembered all the times I hugged her in my arms or cuddled her at night. I would always lean in to the same spot on the crook of her neck, picking up the familiar scent of the sweet and soft perfume. It smelled like my Juliette.
