R I C H A R D
As we performed Noche Inolvidable, I looked to my side and realized Juliette was gone. Automatically, I began to think the worst, and angered boiled inside me as I did. Images of Yashua touching her soft skin, and kissing her plump lips flooded my brain, making me grip the mic harder than I should. I feel so strongly for Juliette that just thinking of all this was enough to get me heated, and a big part of me wanted to drop everything and find her, but I couldn't do that to all the beautiful girls here tonight and the boys.
Pushing the feelings aside, I focused on my dancing and singing rather than where Juliette could be. Underneath that, my veins coursed with anger, and I knew I'd have to see her and make sure she's alright to get back on track for sure.
By the time we had to sing Fan Enamorada she was back, and we made brief eye contact as I walked out with Aaliyah. I held her hand really tight to let her know it was okay, and she kept looking at the crowd and back up to me as I began to sing my solo. It felt amazing to have my daughter in my arms, and see so many smiling faces sing along with me. So many of those beautiful girls cried as they heard me sing, overwhelmed with emotion and the surreal sensation of seeing us and hearing our voices in person.
Aaliyah was so good, she sat there and handled all the screaming without getting scared, but I can only imagine she's so used to it by now.
Quickly before we began to sing Mamita, I kissed Aaliyah then handed her over to Juliette. The moment I pressed my lips to Juliette I could sense something was off. The smile that usually lingers after I surprise her with a kiss wasn't there and she looked away and over to Aaliyah just as I sensed she was uncomfortable.

An hour later I was back in the dressing room, and Aaliyah and Juliette were in the bathroom. I cleaned myself up and changed into clean clothes hastily, not wanting to be here another second knowing Yashua is still around.
Juliette hadn't spoken a single word of it, but I still wondered where she went for the fifteen minutes she was gone. I gathered my phone, charger and shades before I stepped out, only to find Yashua and Juliette speaking a few feet away. Aaliyah wasn't in sight, which I felt a bit better about, but that didn't take away from the anger I felt to see them talking. My feet carried me with heavy, hasty steps and before I knew it I was face to face with both of them.
"I told you to stay away from her." I repeated through gritted teeth, looking Yashua straight in the eyes. His usual smirk wasn't there to mock me, and was instead replaced by a blank expression.
"She's cool, right Juliette?" The sound of her name coming from him somehow infuriated me almost instantly, but that feeling subsided quickly as my eyes looked into Juliette she moment she nodded. "You don't have to protect her from me anymore." I couldn't believe my ears, and my eyes when Juliette didn't even object to his words.
