So this next poem I wrote for a creative writing contest and I actually won 1st place under poetry :) -Ev
What Makes A Hero, a poem:
There are heroes all around me,
That we're not able to see
They do not brag or boast,
So they fit in perfectly.
They aren't the kind of hero that
has powers and wears capes,
Though they do have equal
Amazing things like positive traits.
These people can be your teachers,
Parents, doctors and many more,
I cannot even begin to list the ones
we haven't explored.
"What makes a hero?",you may ask,
It's helping others and doing good
Deeds and tasks.
But it's not just speeding through
these things to prove you've done
your part,
It's truly about doing it from the kindness of your heart.
