I'll stand by you when no one is there
I'll make it clear that I really care
It's okay to feel lonely, sad, and to cower
Just remember things aren't all bad, like the beauty of a springtime flower
New and bright, it arrived, not sure what the world had to give
It grew and grew, and rooted down in its place to live
It eventually shriveled, not getting water, nobody was there
But I have appeared to nurture it, I'll give you appreciation, show that I care
With time things can get better or worse, it depends on the way you see it
But now I am here, to make you joyful when you're feeling depleted
All the flower needed was some extra love and care
It was once delicate like you, but now the love will be shared
